Hi Kevin, my name is Jackie and I live in Burgundy, France. Lots of beautiful wines! Have recently bought a banjolele so your Fingerpicking lessons were invaluable to me. I am just now working through your lets Play Blues lessons. Thanks. I think you are brilliant!
I am from London and absolutely find you an excellent teacher, making learning the Blues interesting with different chord inversions look forward to any future Videos you put out there. Thank you so much
Hi Kevin. Another video packed with information. I always have to dissect them bit by bit and then put the bits back together slowly. And some of this is still over my head. I'm going to start with the new chords. Cheers
Kevin, tysm for this lesson and for everything u do. I love u sm. The best teacher on Earth. I really wanted to sleep, but had been watching your video because your videos are great and I really enjoy watching them every time. Hello from Russia. Have a nice day. Love u. You are the best of the best. Fun fact:I play one song with Dm7, and I usually played first fret third string, second fret third and fourth strings fourth fret first string. Idk why I wrote this version, maybe this version exist. I googled it, but found nothing. Tysm for putting Dm7 in this tutorial.
I’m loving this blues series, Kevin. I like how I can build on the skills because there is a similar structure to each lesson. I’m also enjoying the new chords we are learning. I need a lot of practice with this group of chords. Thanks for making this so fun.
The blues tutorial series is really great so far, thank you! I would really appreciate if you can go into more detail on how to incorporate little melodies into the 12bars. I think we haven't touched enough on that yet. It would also be interesting, if there is some kind of strategy on how to design those little melodies. In my opinion, it would add much more the to series than another video with just another scale. Keep up the good work!
Kevin, greetings from Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Love these blues tutorials, and indeed all your lessons. Thanks for making playing the uke fun and ‘doable’. Trouble is I don’t have enough hours in the day to practice! Keep it going! Stay safe.

Do you use staccato strums on the up stoke?
