I think I speak for most other WVU fans when I say we absolutely loved JT. He was a great teammate and was much better than the guy he was replacing in Jarrett Doege. However for a team that was in the middle of a long rebuild after pretty much being all but eliminated from bowl contention it just seemed like right idea to bench him for the younger guy in Garrett Greene. Greene would eventually break out and lead us to a 9-4 season this year after being picked to finish last in the big 12. Overall however, JT was a very good player for us and had some great moments as a mountaineer being a great player and mentor for Garrett. #HailWV

Very accurate pocket passer, great teammate, very smart. The full year he played at USC his center was unable to consistently hike him a catchable snap. The entire USC line was terrible that year and he was under constant pressure. Next season he got a severe knee injury on a sack. J.T. never was particularly mobile and when he came back from injury he had to be very careful of his knee.
Watching him it was clear to me that he never fully trusted his knee after the injury at USC. Lost a lot of juice on his passes. Between that and his bad luck staying healthy lead to his downfall. I am really looking forward to see where coaching can take him tho.
Stetson didn't really struggle except for two games in 2021. Struggled throughout the first half vs. Florida. But right near the end of the half Georgia scored three tds in a matter of minutes and the game was over. He struggled vs. Bama in the SECCG and lost. People need to understand QB rankings are based primarily on your arm and the throws you are able to make. Little to do with the processing/mental part of playing QB.
