- I am so excited to try something new in the realm of project panning: introducing my Pan Those Eyeshadows Project Pan for 2022! I will be picking a randomized selection of 5 pans of eyeshadow from my collection and working on hitting pan or meeting a usage goal on each one!

Colour wise I think you’ve got an awesome selection for a first timer, since they all work together and are all colours I see you wear frequently. Of course since most of them have little to no dips in them, that will be a challenge. I think it was a good idea to give yourself the option to roll shadows out after 20 uses. Good luck!
After doing pan those shadows for a year, I think my biggest tip is to set aside at least a day or two per week where you don’t work on your selected shadows. I pressured myself to use them all the time that I neglected my other shadows or felt like I couldn’t be creative with my looks. So making sure there were days I didn’t use my pan those shadows was actually really important to successfully panning them! I’m excited to see you do this project!
These shades would make a pretty five-pan! I rotate my palettes weekly, so I don't feel like I need to pan them, but I am doing something similar with my singles. I only have a handful, but I keep one in my bag until I've used it ten times, then switch it out for another.

I did Pan Those Eyeshadows a couple years back, but I’m trying it again this year and I’m really excited! It’s also my first time doing updates on RUclips. My best tip is to try to use each shade in different ways and with different combos with other eyeshadows, so you don’t get bored or fall into a rut of “panning a look”.

Something about these shades makes your eye colour just go BOOM. Not much of a metaphor person, me, but they're like a deep stormy ocean.

I also like that you numbered ALL of your shadows so that any palette or individual shadow could be selected.
Curious to see how you find this changes (of at all) how you interact with or use your other palettes. Like if you find you tend to just focus only on these shades or if you find it’s still easy to work in other palettes and such.
CT Rose Gold looks AMAZING on you. :) I feel like mine is kinda sheer and takes a bit of building.... i might just need to pull it out and play with ti some more. Good luck! I think Opal will definitely be the first shadow you hit pan on. :)
Yay! You are doing my favorite project! I tried this project a few times but get frustrated having to reach into different palettes for one look but I don’t have a vanity. Just a very small countertop in a half bath. If I could lay my palettes out I don’t think I’d mind at all. That Charlotte Tilbury shadow is stunning!!! 🤩🤩🤩. You drew a beautiful palette!

Very nice cohesive color story, I'm curious to see how it'll change once you roll out some of these shades. I also think you'll hit pan on the Profusion shade first. I wonder how much product is in each pan, I couldn't find that information online.
I use Femme in the Mauves Palette as a highlight regularly. It might actually be my favorite highlighter in my collection! For you, it might be more of a blush topper but please do try it!

I have been eyeing CT rose gold for a while. I have oyster pearl and Amber gold, both of which I absolutely love, but I really don't need another one. Rose gold looks so good on you. I'm so tempted!!

Opening this many containers would drive me crazy! I've depotted my oldest eye and face products and put a few of each in large magnetic palettes so I've got options for a whole face in one place. I don't mind neglecting my newer products for a few months while I work through the oldies since I'm sure some of them will need to be tossed, but once I know what's still good I can pull in a newer product here and there while I take a break from an old one I'm bored with
The profusion pans are big, but pretty shallow. I love my profusion Mauves palette; I’ve hit pan on four shades in it 🤩 your little color palette is so pretty!

I’ve been doing the pan those eyeshadows for about a year and a half; one thing that really works for me is figuring out how to incorporate 1-2 pan those eyeshadows shades into my eye look most days.
I did an eyeshadow roulette last year where I rolled 4 shades every month and the randomization was so fun! I also made a look in the video, a great way to challenge myself with makeup and try new things. I’m looking forward to seeing your progress this year.
I think those colors are awesome! I do think you're right about which one will hit pan first. I think it's a really pretty color and you did great with your look using all five.

I want to do this too, I have some older CP and MUG singles that I want to use a lot this year, plus some shadows from a palette that I dropped where they are a little more fragile. In case they crumble completely I want to use as much as possible. It's going to be a lot of neutral looks but that's my favorite thing anyway. While I haven't used a shadow up completely I have come close and hit pan on a couple, so I think I will make good progress. It will be a fun project anyway. Nice video!

I think I will set my usage goal a little bit lower for the first month, since I'm starting later and I don't usually wear makeup to the job that I'm doing these days. I'm excited to do this one!!
I love this project!! So excited to see your progress and I love that you’re incorporating a usage rollout option :)) That CT shade is so stunning and I like how black the black eyeshadow is! If you don’t super like using the black eyeshadow on its own, maybe you can use it more to set liquid/gel eyeliner? That’s what I did before and I’ve panned a few black shades before :)

Owww I was a bit disappointed that you got only neutrals, I was hoping for at least one fun colorful shadow haha but practically speaking the neutrals are really easy to incorporate in any look so I see a successful pan in there!

I may do a modified version. Since I’m in the office 3-days a week (for now) and remote on video the other two, I don’t want to end up with a black, bright green, and magenta shadow together. 🤣 I could do an evening/weekend/party version and a “corporate” version.
Great color palette. I love panning however I have to be careful about how into I get. I notice a lot of panners want to hit pan so badly that they build too many layers on their eyes and it becomes distasteful. I started doing it myself; wearing far too much. However as a an esthetician I reminded myself that it should be worn to enhance one’s features, not simply to just be used up. Since then I finally said goodbye to the makeup I don’t LOVE. Hitting pan has become more natural, using shadows I truly enjoy and creating beautiful looks.

It's the first year that I do this project too and I'm having 20 usages goal. If I feel like I want to continue to use an eyeshadow 'cause I'm near to hit pan I will. My first colour combo is very neutral with gold and bronze shimmers

I feel like I tend to neglect black shadows in my collection when they are really quite versatile. They make great bases for shimmers and deepen any color for the perfect outer corner shade so I don’t know why I neglect them so 😅
UD shimmers aren't to bad to hit pan on 👍🏻 there mattes are hard xx

hit pan on one of my eyeshadows today! (accidentally by dropping the palette on the floor and the eyeshadow broke and spilled all over the floor)
I would love to know if that second shadow (CT) is similar to the Elf Long-Lasting Lustrous, Soiree shadow that you panned?! It looks kinda similar.
I don’t find it similar at all! The CT one is way softer & creamier and the elf formula felt more like a super shock cream to powder formula. The shades are also quite different.
I tried to do a pan those eyeshadows project but it didn’t work out because I got two lime green shadows at once and gave up. How do you keep yourself organized and motivated doing so many different projects using your makeup?
I only have 2 project pans going on this year - this one and my rolling 10 pan - but I keep track in a basic notebook!

I really don’t understand why brands make some eyeshadow palettes with such big pans. I’ve gotten to a point, I won’t buy eyeshadow that comes in these big pans. My space for makeup is too valuable to fill with a palette or shadows that are so large.
