I can say that this episode really feels like the video game part for beginners to witness the open world and come across a mini place to stay or gather some supplies 😄 also the scene with Ghoul shooting is a settle nod to “V.A.T.S” with the slow mo shots being used for deadly style points for critical shots or looking like a bada gunslinger

They used an actual working jetpack on the Maximus's enterance. The pilot had powerarmor legs but the rest was motion ccapture.
funny how many thought it was outright fake. mind you the jetpack on the show t60s seems to be more jump/land assist than a flight jetpack

I wasn't sure how I felt about the show during the first 2 episodes. That last scene with Wilzig and Lucy sealed the deal to watch the rest of the episodes. "Taste like bannana..." Hahaha. So, funny, so dark.

Ziggy worked for *The Enclave* a mysterious, super high tech, utterly ruthless, evil faction, who were the main enemy in Fallout 2 and 3
Descendants of the "Military Industrial Complex". Some folk like Ziggy, defect from them due to moral differences etc
Ghouls are well known, an uncommon mutation causes some Humans who suffer lethal radiation to instead turn into Ghouls, they age incredibly slowly, tougher than normal humans and resistant to drugs, but their strange healing factor doesn't work so well on their skin and brains, so eventually their skin falls off/badly scared and they go mad "Feral". Cooper though is regarded as *THE* Ghoul, as he so old and infamous ;)
Feral ghouls are like hyperkinetic, really dangerous zombies who attack in packs and are a major menace in the wasteland
Dogmeat reincarnates in every numbered instalment of fallout, he is a guardian spirit sent by heaven above to help heroes in their time of need.

After re-watching I realized the time sequence of the show is not as shown. When Wilzig talks to Lucy he is wearing a black jacket, a jacket he does not put on until the cave. So the order of events is, Wilzig leaves Enclave on way to filly, he stops at cave and dumps his lab coat then runs across Lucy. After that Max and Titus arrive at cave also on the way to Filly.
No the armor does not have built in weapons, it is a force multiplier so the infantry has protection and can carry bigger weapons.
The Ghoul is level fifty character in a level 5 universe.
Ghouls are very tough and essentially immortal.
