This is funny and so true! I visited a beach there, I was in a public bathroom when a brown snake slithered in to get away from the heat. I promptly and quietly left the small space. Outside 3 local women headed toward the bathrooms. I warned them of the snake. Instead of thanking me, they yelled at me for harassing the snake. Angrily, I replied that I had been there first, not the snake. Crazy!
