    Hey Phil, a question : Since the last block is continuous work, you are looking to induce some GPP/aerobic development by means of alactic stimulous ?

    • @PhilDaruStrong
      @PhilDaruStrong  4 месяца назад +3

      It’s continuous but repeatable using 50% loads at only 2 reps we’re able to still produce force under slight fatigue

    Hey coach, I've got a question. For punching power, is it better to the incline DB press simultaneously or alternating ? Also many athletes do the alternating DB press with isometrics at the concentric contraction?

    • @PhilDaruStrong
      @PhilDaruStrong  4 месяца назад +2

      I like both just depends on what your working on. For core balance and antirotation strength you can use hold two DBs up while you press one at a time or alternating.

    Personally I like doing At the Top of Every 30 seconds not Top of Every Minute.
    Top of Every Minute you got do something to keep the heart rate up unless you are doing higher reps.

      Trust me you would not be able to hold the intensity and intent of the movement. It was to still maintain explosiveness. The goal for the emom is to improve FT capacity and cardiac output not dip into lactate overacccumlation.

    • @davidwagner9644
      @davidwagner9644 4 месяца назад

      @@PhilDaruStrong Wouldn't you be increasing your cardic output at a faster rate doing the 5 swings at the top of ever 30 seconds?

    • @elrobinhov
      @elrobinhov 4 месяца назад

      @@davidwagner9644 No. Because intensity lowers the longer your perform an exercise. If you'd be able to do this every 30sec this means you didn't use the correct amount of force or you used not enough weight. Look at the goal of the workout, like Coach D explained.

    • @davidwagner9644
      @davidwagner9644 4 месяца назад

      @@elrobinhov Your cardiac output though would be increased as you are working at a high rate due to less rest time.
