    Bio -
    Phil Daru is the Head trainer for some of the top athletes in the world and creator of Daru Strong Training Systems and founder of Daru Strong Performance Center. Daru has degrees in sports medicine and exercise science from Alabama State University where he played division 1 football. Holding certifications with Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) Functional Range Movement Specialist (FRCms) and Kabuki Movement Specialist (NSCA-KMS).
    Daru then began a career in MMA and turned professional at 21 years old where he then developed his own systems for training fighters. Daru has also competed in strongman, bodybuilding, and Bjj Gi and No Gi and currently competes in powerlifting. He has worked with well over 200 plus fighters including world champions like Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Dustin Poirier, Edson Barboza, Junior Dos Santos, Frankie Edgar, Tecia Torres, King Mo Lawal, Andrei Arlovski and many others. Coach Daru is a two time award winning Trainer of the Year for the Florida MMA Awards and Nominated for the Trainer of the Year for the World MMA Awards. He has been globally recognized for his contributions in combat sports performance and has traveled to over 10 countries teaching and mentoring.     I am 47 and I try to do these exercises to the best of my ability. I know I don't look like the pros but I push through. I feel weird when working out in the gym with these young men and women but it is what it is. I am a poor boy just trying to keep my ability to move due to rheumatoid arthritis that has made every workout extremely painful. I started doing plyometrics because of these videos and full range of motion. I can't believe how static training was harmful to my ability to perform my project. With what I have learned from these videos I am a little more flexible and I can move better. I thank you for these videos.

    Seeing a dude that big, all tatted up, on the treadmill is exactly as terrifying as one would expect. It's like he's running to rip my throat out with his bare hands, but he isn't actually going anywhere so the fear lingers for eternity.

    You're doing God's work Phil. I'm not a religious person as I used to be. But i believe training, working out and just being at the gym it is like therapy like my man Jake mentioned. It's a spiritual and physical uplifting.

      It depends on what condition your in. If you’re an average healthy person. Then these will be alright. These will build strength, muscle and cartilage around your knees.
