I lived in Sarnia for a few years when I was young (1982-85), before moving to Halifax. I have real find memories of that time. I'd like to visit again.
Sarnia is my hometown...unfortunately this is during Covid and the city was in lockdown so that is why there was very little traffic etc...it was nice anyway to see all the familiar streets and landmarks...thanks for the drive-thru and take care.
Nice, I would have loved if you had gone on up and around the ships, I am very much into the freighters that travel the St.Clair river. Love the Music.
Ah it's too bad I didn't do that! I was under the impression that no one would be interested in anything other than the downtown area. I may do another video there in the summer and will be sure to show the freighters properly.
Sad, remember when Sarnia was bustling, couldn’t find a parking spot downtown, people walking the sidewalks. (1970’s) So many closed businesses. Completely different place now.
@@travelxoverland We stay at the Hilton across the river in June, I love to take photos of the ships travel the St Clair. I could set there all day doing that, I'm into cameras and watching the freighters.

Surreal. Almost had a post-apocalyptic feel. And,wow for the background score.
Yep looks like a ghost town, almost like there's been a zombie apocalypse. Glad you like the music!
I love it here!! Great video.
Do you still live there, how is it ? I’m considering moving up there
That was wonderful and fascinating and very soothing. Thank you.
So glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching.

Yea I totally agree, I'm sure it would be a lot more lively during the summer or without lockdowns. Thanks for watching Wanda.
Even though it looks desolate and grim, I'd still move there for sure.
Y

You don’t want to

Yes that would be nice to see. A few photos of the lakers passing through would be great for your audience.

I appreciate the feedback, I'll definitely keep it in mind!
I was born and raised in Sarnia. It's sad to see how different it is in 30 years
Yea unfortunately many Canadian cities look deserted like this, until things reopen I guess.
I just thought the same thing, I need a visit, its been since 1988.
How do you rate Sarnia?

Yep it's a shame. Hopefully things start improving and returning back to normal soon.

That's awesome Charles, I'm into cameras too for mainly travel/landscape photography purposes.
Hi, this is a nice video. Could you able to make life in Sarnia video
Thanks Nimesh. I'd love to help you out but unfortunately that's not the kind of content I'm making right now.
Thanks for reaching out there. I am planning to move there for my studies. I was kind of eager to know about it.

This is not downtown Sarnia!!!! Please correct this video to the proper area. Head towards the river and travel on Christina St. North ....
If you've driven a car in Sarnia, chances are you are a sociopath.
Hahaha what?
Looks dreary.
Yep, but I'm sure it looks much better on sunny days.
