I love this little jem channel. Please put out more of this down-to-earth content on bonsai, its really really helpful
Thank you! This in only the beginning, much more to come!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Great video!
Cheers from a cold Finland!
Thanks, cheers!
Wow. 25 years of bonsai and this is the first time I’ve heard it explained like that. It’s genius!
Glad you found it helpful!
what a video, very informative short and sharp! thank you
Glad it was useful!
Thanks, Great video, we just did some heavy dives on wiring in our PSBA Far North group last meeting and this wasn't mentioned, will bring it up this month, makes a lot of sense.
Glad it helped
I love the format of your video's...bite-sized and but you walk away with increased knowledge. However, I would have appreciated a bit more on how to finish the wire at the end of the branch. Oh well, I guess I'll have to take an intensive workshop.
Bonsai is always best learned in person, but I'll make note of that for the next wiring video!
This has quickly become my favourite bonsai channel.
Wow, thanks! Glad you're enjoying it!
Great instructional video!
Glad it was helpful Vicki!
Holy cow. Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
Good to see you in full throttle with your channel!
More to come!
A brilliant video. Very informative especially for the beginner.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi! Great content.
Just some thoughts.
Imagine the seller face when your wievers/students going to the store and asking for "a white wire with a thickness of their branch".
Be more specific on the diameter and the material too...
there are more specific reasons on the materials than you claimed... - you can see easier the "white" wire while adjusting.
And you said bend the branch where supported... than you will have an awkward tree, not what you imagined.
So rather support the outside of the line where you imagined to be bend.
Thanks for the thoughts.
You are absolutely killing it Andrew this is fantastic stuff you’re putting out!
Thanks, glad you're enjoying them!
Brilliant video mate. Very informative and entertaining as usual
Thanks for watching!
Great video - amazing how many people don’t understand this simple concept
Once you know the basics everything else is easy!
Such a great demo, I will make this required pre work before I teach beginners wiring :) I do this same exercise for folks with a clamp and cut branch to start.
Happy you found it useful!
Very interesting. .👍👍
Cheers!

Have you ever worked on prunus cerasifera?
I haven't but we have many prunus species here at RAKUYO
Where do I buy the white deciduous wire in the us ?
Not many people stock it, Jonas from Bonsai Tonight has it from time to time but we might begin selling it on a webstore later this year
Awesome I appreciate it. I just ordered some grafting pins from Jonas I’ll have to see if he has some in stock .
