One of my best times of year because of the wind. Early spring lures like a lipless and balsa flat sided crank bait. I prefer the silent ones mostly in fall. Glide baits definitely… and also big swim jigs will draw bigger bites.
I have challenged myself to get out more and fish at least once a month, unless I get skunked. Lol. I’m also stuck on using a Texas rig. So far I’ve been successful all year using it. Maybe my next challenge will be using all these lures I’ve managed to collect.

Dang, I work 12 hour days and I try to get out every day.
Crazy if I get skunked I'm looking to get back out ASAP and get that bad taste out my mouth....
