Eat Here: Shreveport-Style Stuffed Shrimp

This video produced by the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau shares the story of a unique style of stuffed shrimp that has been served in Shreveport, Louisiana for more than 60 years. These "Shreveport-style" stuffed shrimp originated in the kitchen of the legendary Freeman & Harris Café and can now be purchased in eateries throughout the community. This video also spotlights one local restaurant that is closely associated with the history of Shreveport-style stuffed shrimp, Eddie's Seafood & Soul Food Restaurant. In their October 2015 issue, Southern Living magazine named Eddie's one of the "Best Soul Food Restaurants in the South."
