The idea of a Tyrannical government attacking a outlaw fortress for the sole reason of violation of bureaucratic building code parameters, is just hilariously absurd to me, its like how mobsters get arrested for tax evasion of all things, you gotta love it

Before you mentioned Spirited Away, I was already thinking about Studson's Ghibli builds. Your side buildings remind me a lot of the ones on the side of Howl's moving castle. At least when you were starting to build them.

The simple, few-step process of this entire paint scheme is honestly tempting me to do something similar, but with maybe more Mechanicum inspiration and using some 3d-printed terrain bits I've had lying around for a while. Maybe a missile silo or the smokestack/maintenance scaffolding of a giant manufactorum hidden inside a mountain. Thanks for the inspiration!

Great video, I enjoyed the build. What you mentioned about the inhabitants having to fight to protect their home resonates a bit, especially in the modern world where people have lost their homes over such things.

I used to work at Pizza Hut, and they have a few different names for different pizza hut concepts. "Red Roof" was the name of dine-in-only stand alone.
This really reminds me of the mining/ manufacturing buildings that are set into the side of the canyon in the Ghibli movie "Castle in the Sky"

The more I learn about Necromunda, the more I'm becoming convinced that it would be an amazing setting for Gothic 1 style rpg (for those that dont know, think Bethesda but actually well written and good).
For the wash, you can get a better result from a make your own if you use acrylic ink rather than paint, it tends to flow and mix better there.
