Ernests Gulbis - his most sassy moments

  • He's emotional, blunt and likes to break racquets. And sometimes Ernests Gulbis just has to let journalists know how stupid he finds their questions. But it's all good - as long as you don't complain about his squeaky shoes.

      Probably 90% of players go into events with NO expectation of winning the tournament. Most are content with winning a few rounds.

    • @guillezorro
      @guillezorro 5 лет назад +1

      Yeah, but no player is publicly going to admit that, that's why it was a daft question. If he'd just left it at 'what are your expectations?' it'd have been fine.

    I found it a little difficult to take when a son of a multi-millionaire complained that money ruled the world after complaining in an earlier clip that "the cars weren't on time, the food wasn't on time" like a spoiled rich kind. I like his tennis game, but...

    • @andrecandela2117
      @andrecandela2117 6 лет назад +10

      Christian Cummins gave the stupidest comment on youtube. Whether he's a rich boy or a ghetto boy, the fact that money ruled that particular event is an undeniable fact he needed to address. It is also the case with the bad organization which could not provide the necessities on time. There are schedule for practice courts, if he is late he could not practice well. If food are late, what do you expect for energy source after hours of play or practice? It has nothing to do with being spoiled. It's all about professionalism.

    • @e2go
      @e2go 6 лет назад +7

      Obviously you’ve never competed in a sporting event where it is absolutely essential that everything is on time and running smoothly. If not, then players are late to the arena which causes absolute chaos, and not eating at proper times is a problem for any high level athlete competing in high level competition over a multi-day tournament. These events are structured accordingly and set up for all players to be able to excel at the maximum level, and when things are not running that way then the experienced ones know it. That’s got nothing to do with being the son of a multi-millionaire.
