The heck is your problem
Illyana he’s right you dummies. Cornell had a once in a generation voice. Grunge was the last burst of beautiful solid rock music. All the shit artists my fellow hater named are just that, SHIT. If you can’t hear the difference in power, range and vocal ability between Chris Cornell and lady Gaga( insert any shit singer in the 2000’s)you’re dumb as fuck. Oh and JT the only talented singer to note since the 90’s
More like murdered it by butchering it! This is Dolly Pardon remade people!
This is the best version I have ever heard
Stop hating. Miley did an AMAZING job, singing this song, plus!, for the Chris Cornell Tribute at the Forum in L.A. She fucking rocked the HOUSE!
STFU!!!
she won me over on this one!
Wish I'd been there to see this. I would have been one of those people rolling their eyes at the idea of Miley doing this...until she started singing. Then I would have been one of those people eating their words. By the time she got to "seek out another road..." I was already choking up. Respect to her. RIP Chris.
This is where I became a Miley Cyrus FAN... Girl I even forgive that Pitbull debacle that time... man I heard Chris Cornell do this live and it was spiritual... u crushed it MC and I have a newfound admiration and respect for u...
One of the best voices in the biz!!
She did it again. She is really talented. Never disappoints!
She nailed it! My first time being impressed by her.
Surprised! She did a great job and glad she appreciates great music!
her voice is amazing❤❤❤
She will forever have my respect and gratitude for doing more than justice for this song and giving it life Chris could feel
Never seen or heard about her singing this until i went to play the original version and OMG!!! Glad i found this jewel, girl has some pipes!!! This was f'ing awesome 👌
So much love in this. Damn - Miley is an absolute champion.
A happy go lucky kid here, just listened to this song after my brother got sent to Jail for the third time. (For mental illness) it breaks my heart for not being able to talk to anyone about it. Music is the answer to most of my problems. Thank god for it and thank Miley and temple of the dog for this song. I’m interpreting it differently but I’m just sitting in my car bawling my eyes out. It’s therapeutic and beautiful but also sad. When will he accept help? Who knows. But I’m here. Thanks Miley for this! If it weren’t for music I’d be dead. If you’re listening in 2024 know everything’s going to be ok.
I'm so sorry 😢. Lost my husband to cancer and played this song over and over. It helped save me
She found her calling. She is a rock singer . period...she needs a rock/ blues band and original material. I hope she surrounds herself with positive people of peace & not toxic people
This gives me goosebumps my grandma passed away last night and this song it's the perfect song
Miley you re amazing.. This is one of the BEST performances... GOD YOUR VOICE
My favourite vocal performance by miss Cyrus. She has such a unique and stunning voice. I’m blown away every time I listen to this.
We are so blessed to have music that expresses our emotions. Thank you Miley for being able to giving our voice an emotional voice.
HOLY SHIT> I love her. I never even liked her b4 i saw this. I certainly wish/hope she would entertain the idea of doin at least an album. Thank you ROCK STAR. i have goose bumps and tears at the same time.
Ah yes, the initial feeling of 'F off Miley, you have no place singing a CC song' to 'God damnit, she's utterly and completely nailed it, fair play'. I guess when you are that talented, you can do pretty much anything and not fall flat on your face.
My feelings exactly.
I'm glad she was able to change your mind, it took some decades but she finally did it.
Miley girl you are a power house, don't ever forget it
She sang it like she meant it, can't ask for more than that.
Rest in peace Andrew, Rest in peace Chris. You were roommates, you were friends, you shared a bond in life and this song creates a bond beyond this mortal plain for you two once again…
I literally got goose bumps...
She blows the goddamned doors off of this! RIP Chris, we love you so much.
She absolutely killed it!
What a performance! What a tribute to one of my favorite artists. It’s crazy how one person performance can open your eyes to someone’s true talents and and how they seize the moment and take charge of a venue and captivating it. Sounds familiar, like the person she is paying tribute to. Miley Cyrus is an amazing talent. I will never get tired of seeing this.
I watch this over and over. Great Job Miley!
Never gets old, she nailed it, straight from the soul...
Yeah, she did a good job. Her "rocker" voice reminds me of Stevie Nicks
Elizabeth Thorburn Jones when she sings quietly her tone and vibrato are similar to Stevie- they use a similar technique
When singing out too.
She actually does some songs on Howard Stern and they talk about her and Stevie Nicks talking a while back. Worth looking it up and listening to it when u get a minute, if u haven’t already...
What about Joan Jett or Pat Benatar??
@@Jshep_97 she has done some Joan Jett covers. Not sure on any pat benatar covers
Dolly Pardon
This is the best live performance ever by a woman I’ve ever seen ! I love you MILEY
I feel the same
STAND OUT performance of the evening! In THAT room too. Says a lot.
|| This and "Show Me How to Live" ||
Whatever your personal opinion, this girl is a STAR!
Great video, thanks for sharing.
She has the voice of our generation for sure. She’s so adaptable and amazing. All the shit she got, and she just comes back with a vengeance each time. I love her so much.
Chris Cornell giving this a standing O from heaven I'm sure
Wow! I was completely stunned. I thought it was going to be a train wreck but she killed it. She should stop doing pop and be a rocker. She has pipes!
