Nah man, Layne Staley of Alice in Chains, Kurt Cobain and Chris Cornell are some vocal legends of rock. She needs to definitely take the real rock path and get away from pop The band name Temple of the Dog comes from the lyrics of Mother Love Bones song 'Man of Golden Words' which is essentially a tribute to music itself. Temple of the Dogs was a one album tribute to Mother Love Bones singer Andrew Wood who died after taking what's called a hot shot (tainted heroin) a shit load of people in Seattle that week died from the same batch. Mother Love Bones opening act who was influenced by them was Alice In Chains, after Wood died, the band basically became two new legendary bands, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. The whole thing is ride with straight up rock legends.

You are 100 % Correct! No female vocalist as versatile as her! And can’t sing rock as good as her
A bunch of jellyfish
She grew up always saying I wanna be a rockstar and if she did I’d get behind it for sure
This still chokes me up.
every time. balling my eyes out
Every couple years I fall in love with Miley all over again. She is the ultimate chameleon of our generation. Borgore, Cornell, Zeppelin etc. Rock on beautiful!!!!❤
Honestly pulls off the covers better than anyone else! 🙌
If someone told me 10 years ago that I'd get goosebumps from seeing a live performance from Miley Cyrus, I'd have laughed in their face. Between this and several other rock covers/collaborations I've just recently seen, I am absolutely fucking floored. I can't fucking believe I'm saying this but....I'm a fan.
Her range is unbelievable. There is really not anything she can't do! Country ballads, pop, now rock...rock needs to be her genre. Unbelievable.
She won the crowd over... She's a true Rock Star now. I would have been one of those booing at the beginning. I was so wrong.
She poured her heart and soul into this performance! What a tribute! 🙌🏽🤍
her voice is pure ❤❤❤love her
Wow....this is the first time I’ve let myself listen to this song since Chris Cornell died....holy shit that was amazing
Miley Cyrus did an amazing job with this song.
She definitely honored the beautiful legacy of Chris Cornell and for that we can't thank here enough ❤ ❤ ❤
It doesn't matter how many times i watch this, this is fucking great
The comments in this are amazing! Finally, everyone else sees what I see in Miley!
Her love for music and other artists is next to nothing! I will forever love Miley and this is why!
She has a Janis Joplinesque vibe here. Tastefully blew it away. Well done.
She definitely tapped into that. Her inner Janis or Tina Turner. Well done!
Miley…. My new hero! Damn she nailed this one! I wax there. This show was beyond epic!
Brought tears to my eyes. She is so talented!
From 3:00-on it’s a musical masterpiece. That guitar solo, Miley at the end. Can’t beat it
You can't deny she has the passion and heart for her craft...amazing talent
If that wasn’t the greatest vocally emotionally incredible thing I’ve ever heard then I don’t know what or where it was. Stunning. Much respect for Miley and please God fest in peace Chris. Miss you dude.
The greatest? It was awesome but you tripping, saying it was the greatest.
🤘🏻😪
@@mysonandme8424 the greatest vocally emotionally incredible thing is from Linkin Park with One More Light at the Kimmel's show (a tribute to Chris Cornell too). This, this is so painful
She put her heart and soul passion in that song and nailed it
Her vocal ability is immeasurable, She been proving herself over and over last few years, She's a vocal force to be reckoned with. Amazing performance!
Let's pray for her vocal chords to remain in good health .
When other people scream it's annoying, when she screams it goes straight through my whole body. Incredible voice
Nah man, Layne Staley of Alice in Chains, Kurt Cobain and Chris Cornell are some vocal legends of rock. She needs to definitely take the real rock path and get away from pop
The band name Temple of the Dog comes from the lyrics of Mother Love Bones song 'Man of Golden Words' which is essentially a tribute to music itself.
Gotta say, it's amazing to see what Miley can do when she's caught up in being a musician instead of being all caught up in being a celebrity. Great job.
She's always been a great musician. Even when she was doing her crazy shit.

She is so talented it's unbelievable
After Miley's incredible performance, my next favourite thing about this video is the person at the end saying "that was amazing. My respect for her has just doubled"...
She is crazy talented at whatever she puts her talent to and should be able to explore all the genres she wants without fear of judgement. Every music fan deserves to hear her amazing voice.
Yeah, once I allowed myself to look at Miley in a 'not Disney' light I realized the woman comes with power, soul, and true talent. IDC, I think she is great and her rendition of this, and her other powerful covers, are absolutely stellar.
She really blows my mind. I love her voice, man.
I can assure you that Chris Cornell would respond with “Wow…. impressive!” Y’all just got taken to church!!!!
Great to see Temple of the Dog again
But Wow, that is by far the best I’ve ever heard Miley , she needs to dump the pop crap and move into the Rock Genre
Greatest performance she ever did

Are you kidding me? As time has gone by and I hear Miley in interviews and nail this tribute to Chris, I see her maturity off the charts. I have the outmost respect and admiration for this awesome performer. Keep rocking Miley. 🤟🏼
Awesome performance!! No one can sing like Cornell but that was f'n great 110% everytime that's why she is one of the best artists today
I still can't listen to this without it making me teary. This is just such a beautiful tribute to Chris, she was incredible. I never even listened to her music before I heard this a year ago and had no interest in doing so. Now, I'm a full on Miley fan. 👍
