Don't take this wrong because I otherwise love your content; I'm a Pads fan and it's a little frustrating hearing these takes on the Padres farm without context. Everyone including the Padres knew Pauley wasn't ready, he was thrust into action because Manny was recovering from off-season surgery. It'd be nice if they could've just signed a free agent stop gap but that's cost-prohibitive when you have $10m to spend under the CBT threshold, why blow 30% of your budget on a short-term problem? It's a lot of crap this off-season that led to Pauley being on the 40 man. Same with Abrams in 2022, they needed an infielder because Tatis was recovering from surgery that year, and by the way I thought Abrams acquitted himself well given the spot he was put in. Without injuries neither of those guys would've been pushed, just saying these moves were addressing an urgent need at the time, I don't think the Padres were thinking these guys are farther along than they were. As for Snelling, maybe he just came back down to earth, or hit a wall? I don't see how Padres don't get the credit for his fantastic year last year, but get all of the blame for this season.
How can we mention him?! He hasn't thrown a professional pitch! We didn't mention Chase Burns either. Why jump to such an extreme negative rather than just asking why?

It's hard to fathom how bad Condon has been. 4 BB to 34 K and .518 OPS.
he needs big time swing adjustments but if he fixes it hes gonna mash still prefer cags based on the upside and the fact cags problem is easier to fix

“Cijntje has not thrown a minor league inning so we have nothing to update you on”
Was that better? Would that be good content?
@freebs8918 excellent and thank you
@@freebs8918 Haha thank you!
“Just as bias” [sic] was the giveaway that the OP is an idiot.
