It is just engine oil. The same as I planned to put in the engine -- I think it was quakerstate 5w30. Make sure everything is soaked good because sometimes it can take a minute to get the oil pump primed and don't want parts rubbing dry.
K&W Copper Coat. Most auto parts stores have it and you can order it online too. It is my go-to sticky sealant mainly because my Grandpa recommended it. I often put a little on gaskets to make them sticky and hold in place. It is thinner and doesn't squeeze out of the sides like rtv does.

Dear you know, you are the best?
This is super helpful, thanks!
Great video. Can you replace the spring on rocker arm without removing the camshaft?
Do you mean the little clip on springs?
@@nunapitchuk yes ! I broke 2 of them when adjusting the valves somehow
@@eljam8138 Yes, you can just push the new one on. No need to remove the camshaft.
Frank what are you using for oil as you reassemble? I can’t thank you enough for these videos.

Hey Frank! I have to replace my valve seals and I'm wonder if I can just leave the rocker arm shaft in place and just remove the rocker arms? Thanks!
Might be a typo here? It is not possible to remove the rocker arms unless you remove the rocker arm shaft first.
Do the rocker arms have a bearing on the end?
Do you mean the rocker arm shaft? It does not turn and has no bearing on end.
@@nunapitchuk Maybe it's the Chevrolet metro 4cyl engines that have it on certain engines.
@@nunapitchuk I might be thinking of the hydraulic valve adjusters in the 1.3L coming apart and damaging the camshaft.
@@MadWeiner Maybe. I have not worked on that kind of engine.
Whats the name of that sealant?

Como me encantaria que todo el tutorial estubiera en español pero exelente👍
Thank you. Sorry, my Spanish is not good enough to narrate in Spanish.

Mi español no es bueno. Tal vez el brazo oscilante suelto o la holgura de la válvula deben ajustarse.
Frank Cook muchísimas gracias amigo
