I remember when I was a lad in the sixties they were repainting 4555 at Tyseley. I think originally it went to Dartmouth but i could be wrong, it's a long time ago😊

The stop at the level crossing is similar to what I found ona trip from Australia in 2022 occurs on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway.
C&PR is on my list to do but as a shorter line through what looks like pleasant, but unspectacular English countryside, it hasn't been a priority.
It has very restricted operating days even in your peak summer, and as for September that's my favourite month and was the choice in the last two years, similarly only very few running days. This makes it hard for overseas visitors though I acknowledge 99.5 per cent of its passengers will be English.
Quality videography as usual from you. Well done!

Marvellous film of a great loco, very well done.
Although I prefer 4555 in its previous livery personally, I don’t disagree that BR Green looks very smart. Should be paired up with Erlestoke or Lydham at some stage.
Love your content, very smooth and professional. We’ll be seeing you at the SVR steam gala too I hope?
Keep up the great work - Alex.

Speed to the West is still the best. And that ain't no jest.
