Under Wraps is such an under-rated album ... it is amazing, every song is unique and great. Great transposition into acoustic guitar ... that's very good.
Much maligned but brilliant. Of mice and men, of tempests and teapots where else could we find such a comprehensive commentary on the valid merits of Jethro Tull during their most obscure period? Great appreciations.
Nicely done Stuart. Actually looked quite difficult to a non musician? Im the one person who bought, loved and still love UW. So many really great songs on that one. Weird and wonderful album. Thanks again. Very enjoyable rendition.
Thanks Glenn, and good to hear from you, I trust all is well? It is a very tricky arrangement that i picked for myself. Had to bring out the riff and the slightly unusual chords underlying them. Thanks as ever.
@@DailySporran well if you ever down here, get involved, we'd love to have you tur up ! and excellent stuff, if you ever want to go full on tull we'll find you a flute player - "Aqualung" boooom.
Terrific thumbnail of the songwriting credit history -- also "additional musical material" to Eddie Jobson and a stray Barre credit at least once on Dot Com (leaving aside Mick Abrahams). Not an uncommon point of issue in bands. But it only seems relevant lately with Anderson, in light of his publicity for the last two albums during which he's been keen to underline that the history of Tull is entirely down to himself. While that's obviously in essence true, the intended slight to Martin Barre (or unintended to Dee Palmer or John Evan, etc) is a bit uncharitable.
Would you by chance happen to own a first pressing of Aqualung? I'd be curious if Jenny Anderson received a writing credit from the beginning. I always guessed her getting cred on their biggest hit was just a divorce settlement.
Peter-John Vettese is an awesome talent!
I love how you look at the past but don't stare.
Thanks for a solid sunrise.

Interesting comment on the co-writing credits.

we came for Gaga and stayed for Tull - only joking, great cove, drop by our place sometime .
Will do! Happy to play at your pub if you ever want to drive the hard core boozers home at the end of an evening

Nicely done, Stewart. I’ve never been a huge fan of the song, but I prefer your acoustic version
Will wonders never cease? Another surprise pick. I'll bet it was challenging to transform this one to acoustic. 👏🏻 Cheers!
Yes it was! All the best to you,
Wonderful job it sounds on acoustic like it should be on Benefit. Thank you sir.👍

Wonderful as always Stuart. Thanks for the performance and the upload.
Great job, love the song, love your version 😎

"with dacron nikon necklesses" .... where are you ever going to hear or read lyrics like this except Jethro Tull?
Lose the shirt and tie, you're playing Tull not King Crimson ffs !! (Nice cover by the way)
I had just got home from work.... but point taken, thanks!
@@DailySporran Cheers mate I thought that might be the case :)
