it doesn't do that tho sure it will maybe 1 time a month but it's not an everyday type thing really they need to make a better product and not do a 300 dollar price tag
if that happens to you often it may be because of lack of light in the area you're standing in when you turn the oculus on or because the light source it too far away. at least that's how it happens to me.
I have a larger space but stick to about 6-7 feet...but for every time I set the guardian - even stationary - I get a message "You have left the zone" and it asks me to re-trace....I've now done this 8-10 times and re-set headset twice. I'd say I've reach my "I'll return this BS" limit by now.

When i set the guardian it says "You have passed the limit" even with 3 meters of space and no furniture around it. With limited space is the same thing.

@@MetaQuestVR Thanks for anwering! 3 days ago i've realised that the height calibration with the touch controllers were lowering the grid further than the actual floor is. So the solution was just upper a bit the grid and that's it.

For some reason my new meta quest 2 glitches to where I set up my quest then its tells me to set up my guardian and when I do it sends me to the home screen for a moment and then it takes me to a screen that says how a guardian works and what it does but when I press continue It closes the message but keeps me in the same bubbly environment. The only reason Guardian exists is to help protect Meta from being sued should you kill all your neighbors while flailing your arms playing a game in your own living room. Guardian is so irritating, inconvenient, and such a failure it almost results in returning the headset for a refund and find something other to do than VR. It absolutely ruins the entire experience. Oh, and if tech support can supposedly help you fix it (which they cannot) then why doesn't Meta just send out an update and be done with it?
Theres an option to disable guardian and if you dont find it just make it absurdly big. But if your break your controller in your TV its not their problem and neither mines

Remember this video people, you'll have to do this many times.... maybe fix that the quest 2 resets/removes the guardian system, way too often...

switch to room scale by leaving the boundary then it will ask “stationary or room scale “ click roomscale
