- In this video I break down tips for newer players with MINIMAL SPOILERS. After playing for 100 hours, here are some things I wish I would have done better or changed. We focus on food and water management, as well as general tips for quality of life as you progress through the campaign.

This game has gotten so much bad press based on ignorance. The more you play the game, the better it gets. The issue is that most reviews are based on games that last 6-8 hours and this game is far far longer than that with much more progression as you get into late game. If you play this game for 6-8 hours you are probably irritated and pissed off if you stop there. That being said, there are a ton of things that need polished but they're minimal compared to the press they get. People who say " $10 for a save slot?!" are jumping on the bandwagon to take shots at a game they know nothing about. The only reason you need to pay for a save slot is if you have kids or roommates who might want to play the game with their own character. There's no value in you playing another character as you can jump between all the subclasses with no respec fee. The story was great and the ending was 10/10 in my mind. There's no need to buy anything with the coins in the game for any reason and I actually think it would deter some of the gameplay by doing so. Either way, I love the game and hope people open their minds to try it.

I picked this up yesterday....being a true metal gear fan I want gonna pay full price. I was quite surprised tbh....pretty good game all in.....its no metal gear tho but still worth a blast.
Is it possible to get the best endgame loot by playing solo? I love the game but I'm not really a fan of coop.
Hi Victor, You can do the base digs to get the better base recipes but most of the high end gear I came across was from coop and multiplayer. However, you can solo the easy multiplayer missions as well. Hope that helps.

What do you suggest to do when defending transporters from zombies? Also are grenades the best way to get rid of a lot of zombies in one area?

I think what I did was clear out the zombies around the area before you start up the transporter and get on top of one of the buildings and shoot them that way

I see why this game is hated, horrific early game. but once you get good it's probably fun late game. even then I doubt it'd be fun actually because nobody plays it anymore
@@illusion9289 you don’t have to go directly there, you can go to other places to get guns and ammo, then go back to home base you you don’t lose them if you die

What score would you give this game compared to another of your channel?
Cause I found it... bad.
I think this is one of the games that I have found most entertaining along with subnautica among larger release titles of the last 6 months. I would absolutely recommend it. I do feel it is better played with friends to make the single player experience more enjoyable.
I really feel that as the game develops, this may actually be in the top twenty or thirty games I've ever played. That being said, Darkest Dungeon is in the top 5, The Long Dark is in the top ten, and Russian Fishing is in the top 20. I would say if you have gone beyond 30 hours in the game, it is definitely not for you as I felt I was loving the game at this point. Survival games are my favorite type of game and I really love harvesting materials and gathering resources and farming, etc. I also think the coop modes are very fun and the fact the coop materials tie into your main base means you get "Credit" for even helping your friends that might be lower level. Not everyone enjoys what I do, but I feel the game has been giving unfair criticism.

Tbh the game so far is pretty crappy taking 10 steps and needing a breather is insane and melee sucks
