I have never owned and probably will never own a GTR, but I just love watching the innovation and engineering that PRP keeps pumping out to the world. This is a thing of beauty.
I agree, I used to think these guys were way too expensive. But the amount of money they put into r&d has really changed my opinion. This guy is a true enthusiast
You'll own one, one day, you just need to work hard and save money for one, don't lose hope, i was like you, now I'm a few thousand away from buying one.
I don’t think this has ever been done before, on any scale. Support for a platform that covers every aspect of modifications with zero gimmicks, just honest to goodness quality industry leading parts. Literally the best of of the best, all working solutions, the absolute best you can ever think up in the best way. This is so unreal, and PRP aren’t done yet; they keep coming up with more.
Put a blanking plug in the oil ports on the diff and it's air and liquid tight. Thus it can be submerged in an anodising tank fully assembled, and only the raw aluminium will get anodised.
One day I'm going to win the lottery, and when I do I'm having an R34 M Spec Nur imported, and I'm dropping it off to Herman with a blank cheque and a note that says "road car with the lot, please."
What sort of power level do you need to be at to really see the advantages of running one of these? I know they’re mainly just a stronger unit but if someone had an r33 gtst with a built 26/30 at what power level would you tell them to go for one of these ?
Banks did a video about it, most diff housings with fins don't do much for aided cooling as it is in a dead zone, but the added mass/surface area can work.
Oof thats alot of money for an 8.8 that doesn't even come with a prop shaft. Supra 9 inch diffs are cheaper and most shops even add on the prop shaft aswell.

I hope someday to own one, and I’ll PRP everything on it! 😆

Herman is the greatest human alive.
That's a big unit. O'l mate with the python arms just muscling it up into the rear end :D
Absolute thing of beauty! Keep up the great work Herman
I just want to know how you doing anodizing on a complete diff.

Great seeing this ima be even more broke 😂 herm you legit legend
Soo cool to have drop in parts ❤
Beautiful piece!
I don't care for GTRs but PRP camp put out nice parts. Maybe one day when I get rich, I can use this billet 8.8 in something else.
Great work guys
Great job, Herman 👍
Very impressive fellas :-)

hmm I heard people put a GT-R diff in a Evo, wonder if this will work too
Isn't the R200 also in the new Sport Nissan Z?
When I see anything Billet I go cuckoo. Maybe there will be one in the near future for us SUPRA guys. Hint hint..⭐💯😎🏁🏁🏁

What modifications needed for s13 240sx and gear setting for road race/ Time Attack
Dang on!
Wow awsome
LS S14 never see over 800 😢 but still want one
Aren't the hubs still the same spline count, or do you upgrade them to 35 spline as well?
Cast iron housing version next?
But why...
One day I'll own a gtr. R34 to be exact
Thank god that my wife don’t know how much I spent on car parts! PRP will get me divorced one day 😂🔥
Y isnt this going into the motive gtr????
How much stronger is a 8.8 than the factory ~8" diff?
Any reason why not to use a r230?
8.8 is a lot more common in the US so has a lot of aftermarket support for upgraded gears and a whole host of gear ratios
how are those fins in the rear getting air 🤔
By being surrounded by it. That's exactly how the OEM Z32 and aftermarket covers work. The diff oil is much much hotter than the ambient air

@@FlatBlack_240SX😂such a good answer
can we see a video you a built diff being anodised?
Look up 'how to colour eggs the Serbian way' it's a bit like that! 😂
Will that fit into a S-Chassis?
Read the title
Dang
Priceless but yet too expensive (for me😢)
Hate the music and editing,,better to just have rbs idling in the background and tech talk,, ,its like watching the same video every time
