@@22or22 The original battery(12Ah) is still going in good condition, I only replaced the brake shoe at 4300 km, Now I’m planning to buy a 16Ah battery!
I bought one of those super 73 knockoff style e bikes and it is a head turner! It looks for all intentions like a little motorbike! They are very comfortable and I like my mag wheels instead of spokes. I did put quite a few upgrades on it like a new battery a new motor with new controller( mid drive motor) a new set of tyres a new headlight. So basically a new bike LOL! This was all in the first 1000 Kilometers of owning it! I had planned to do this from the beginning as I could not find what I wanted so I had to build and butcher! Next things are new brakes a decent horn and proper indicator and brake lights at the back! As far as an e bike goes they are addictive to ride!
I did 2000km with exactly the same bike and color, this bike is amazing ! I added a real horn (never a car cut my ride, magical! haha!) For the cable problem I seen it in another video before shipping and fix it at the first day ! My pic power is 1500w ! I'm 75kg and the power is very very impressive ! Engwe have every part of this bike if you need it, so easy ! I'll change my brake pads this week myself. So confortable in every situation, I'm still impress !
Assuming a top speed of 25km/h (eu regulations) and a mix of PAS and throttle, how was the battery life? I'm still a bit concerned about this as I intend to use it to travel to and from different cities.
I can’t understand why people have the handlebars so high on these bikes, on a normal bike you’d never have them that high proportionate to the seat level, -or is that the lowest they can go???
Same bike and almost 2000km. The bike is good but has a lot of problems. Few months ago the frame literally broke in two pieces near to the shock piston, the quality of frame's material is very low,the same for weldings points. Before every ride you MUST check the screws because due to vibrations they will unscrew. The battery after a year lasts less and a new one costs almost 400€!. I feel to say that if you weight more than 80/90kg don't buy It.
Estoy esperando la version engine pro 2.0 espero que salga igual de buena que esta, aun sabiendo que no corre lo mismo queria, la pido desde italia, saludos
Yes! But its a smaller battery. So I was debating myself between this option or another proper battery and I chose the latter and ordered one yesterday.
@@22or22 16ah + 13ah >> 29ah not enough? Plus you dont have to swap batteries. I've got a dual battery balancer kit and 2 batteries. the kit will draw power from both batteries rather than in parallel.
Hello. I see that you know electric bicycles well. I want to buy one, but I have no way to try them. That's why I would appreciate it if you could advise me on a model. I tell you my needs. I am 70 years old and I am 5'5". I weigh 70 kg. I want it to walk, mainly on steep mountain trails. I don't need speed, but I do need it to be able to climb steep trails without having to pedal.
Hello Pabloi. Thx for watching. Am by no means an expert in this matter, in fact this is my first e-bike. I can tell you that this bike can suit your use in my opinion. Maybe ill highlight your comment and one of the folks here might help with other options. Cheers
Good video. Why don't you use it so much in the rain? Is it a concern about those tyres being less stable on wet roads or concern about it not being so waterproof that water will get into the electrics?
Thx bro! Well actually both:) I dont think rain specially light one will do any damage am just being extra careful. Also dont get too confident with the tyres as I slipped couple of timed in roundabouts.
New subscriber, as I'm waiting for my Engine X to arrive (the 250w version of your bike, which is Engine pro, without an X ;) ). I chose Engine X precisely because it is fully EU legal (unless you unlock it, which I can still do if I'm riding it off road, the main difference being that the sticker on it says it's EU laws compliant and the writing on the engine says 250w, even though it's 750 as well), and I also plan to deliver for Wolt. I'm wondering, if the low mileage you get from one charge is due to the fact that you unlocked it and are riding it at higher speeds, as I do not intend to do so. As I live in Osijek, which is a smaller town here in Croatia, I don't think I'll have a problem delivering at a "slower" speed, which will still be faster than if I were to do it on a regular bike. I was hoping to get at least 60 km from one charge, as it is advertised to be capable of up to 100 km. If I were to ride it more economically, do you think that would be achievable, considering I weigh about 70 kg?
Hi and thx for the sub. I would say you will be able to get that milage no problem, considering that am much havier and I use higher level while riding. Right now am getting about 50km in a very cold weather and using level 3 on normal mode. Hope this helps. Also the terrain will matter for if its hilly or flat. Enjoy:)
1200km here, got bike a year ago, modded it quite a lot, whole front end to better suspension fork (air), better handlebars, got rid of that folding column. Got rid original (dangerous) metal fenders. Upgraded bigger brake discs. Default bad quality metal crankshaft threads were gone only after first 100km, so replaced crankshafts and pedals to better quality. Default thumb throttle did hurt my thumb and was on wrong side, so got full throttle and installed it on right side as it should be. Got better bolt for that rear suspension so it actually moves, it was very stiff on default and got those bolts loosened every now and then because of it. Next probably gonna change that very bad headlamp to one you can actually see something in Finnish winter nights...
Wow, thats quite a modification and you are not the first that does that. Am still on everything original except for break pads that needed to change. Currently am at 3200km and going to release a video about it soon. So I wanted to ask you about the battery performance since you ride in those cold Finnish winters. How much change have you experienced distance wise compared to a mild day? Thx
Hello, am 1.90cm and 100kg. Comfort wise I have no issue however the range specially during winter is not the best about 40-50km with moderate pedalling mainly on flat surface

Hi! I am considering purchasing this bike or the new Engwe X20. I am drawn to these bikes because I need a bike to enjoy recreational rides on weekends, but I am unable to mount a bike rack on my car. Do you think it is possible to fit these bikes in the trunk of my Tesla Model 3 when folded?
Hi Andrea, I would say it will fit no problem ( Engine pro) since its foldable and becomes quite compact. I can fit mine in a rav4 easily but thats a different car I know. Mind that the Engine pro is 38 kilograms. Let me know how you did

Actually for the battery health its Best to Charge it 20%to 80%, when you need more energy its better to use 0% to 80% for battery healtb
And also never Charge the battery when its to cold, then your battery should outlast your bike if you follow this tipps
