I love this! My family is also Lebanese and Jewish, so it was really really cool to see a lot of these places imagined as pokemon landmarks and cities! I also love the inclusion of real life photos when you talk about map locations. It helped with immersion and getting the 'vibe' you were going for! I know you said no fan game, but I would play it soooo much! Such creative and well thought out ideas!

This makes me want to create my own region so badly but I feel that it’s much harder than meets the eye. Great job on making the Asone region feel really fleshed out and lived in! I’d start a journey through here in a heartbeat.
Honestly I didn't care so much about the region at first but I still can't believe I'm so invested in knowing everything about it now

Im making my own indian region too! Today i made the regional bird which is a myna (a bird very popular in india), it switches form if it's against a female Pokemon, because it's been found out that female mynas are INCREDIBLY hostile towards other females

I'm making one based on the Koreas. It's going great! I just need to design, which I'm bad at. My starters are a lynx, a goral, and a crane.
The amount of care and love for all of these cultures, and the way you managed to seamlessly translate all of them into a singular pokemon region is just *chef's kiss*. Been watching for well over 6 years now and your content just keeps getting better and better, you should absolutely be proud of this project dude.
Carbonk is such a well designed pokemon I actually forgot that you made it yourself and it wasn't an actual pokemon.
Also, I can't help but feel like in Sevedar there would be a little NPC in a green shirt that reminds you to take a moment and appreciate the beauty around you. Then he gives you a useful item, telling you it's his favorite color, Green!

Oh yeah, I’m excited to see what Asone has in store for your Pokémon Cinematic Universe with Bird Keeper Toby, Lockstin and Hoopsandhiphop! Both Norcloh and Kaskade were amazing, now I’m looking forward to seeing what Solympia and Asone has to offer. Looking forward to our adventure beginning.
I like how the art of Asone's map is inspired by Kawaguchi Yoohei's (Kawayoo) maps on ORAS, SM and USUM.

Gamefreak NEEDS to pull a Sonic Mania in the next few generations and start hiring fans, the amount of care for this region is outstanding.

That's crazy. The whole series is so well thought-out and everything fits so well together. It's all planned and drawn with so much love for every detail that you could think that it actually is a convincing new game by game freak and I wish it was

My region is in northern South america and central america. Also its about 100 years before the main pokemon games

Alola was beautiful (especially in USUM) but was the most linear region to date with zero to no exploration...
And then Galar was even worse and literally just one giant corridor with one circle and a few dead end left and right!
Probably a worse unova region and Kalos region because the routes had still weight and exploration in mind back then!
1. Congratulations. Seriously. The amount of effort and work here is so impressive and that is such an incredible accomplishment.
2. I absolutely ADORE the use of the aleph bet (and other alphabets) for the town names. What a wonderful way to indicate your path through the region!

I'd loved to explore Asone, it's so beautiful and full of culture. as a person who is a complete nerd for history this would be my favorite Pokemon region ever. I want this to be a real pokemon game so bad. Gamefreak should hire you or something, the amount creativity that goes in this region and the Pokemon is incredible. 💙

while I love this region and its pokemon, I feel like the starters (mainly their first forms) could use an update, they look REALLY cool later on but I feel the first forms could look more....startery? mainly face wise, as I worry they may be outshined by all the other mons in the region. This is just my opinion tho, this is still great stuff

Damn. This is extremely well done. What I like most is the faithfulness to how Game Freak does their regions combined with a more expansive scope and attention to the detail of the locations of the real world. Freaking love this.
This level of exploration and discovering is everything I feel has been missing from the last few generations of Pokemon. Only like... a million times more and I love it!
It always has and always will its just the internet spoils every nook and cranny when a new pokemon game comes out XD

I try to play the new games as spoiler-free as possible by just completely avoiding any Pokemon-related news leading up to release and before I've beaten the games. It makes them more fun to see everything for the first time!
From my experience, there seems to be significantly less ruins and branching cave systems in the most recent generations. Galar had the wild area, sure, but the actual routes were almost completely linear. Same with Alola, minus the wild area.
@@ShintarufromdA Yeah true but hey in the future we will most likely get more explorable routes just judging how the games have been advancing lately (And definitely when we get an upgrade from a new Nintendo console)
@@sierrablue2206 Oh yeah! I've got a lot of hope for even more open and explorable areas going forward, especially since the games seem to be moving to a more open-world design. Fingers crossed we get some nice ruins or something in the next gen games!

Absolutely love how jam packed the early routes are with pokemon.I feel like I could have a full team of 6 before the second badge if I wanted to, without any crappy or filler pokemon.
Absolutely love the map man. its giving me vibes from when they released the ORAS map official art. I also love the towns and inspiration. The middle east is DEFINITELY underrepresented in media. Aside from Aladdin, there's not that many memorable media representations. Also, monks taking care of pokemon is kinda genius.
I can tell that you're very passionate about this. There's so much detail and love in this. I hope that this can get realised in some way.

This region looks super complex with a ton of unique areas to explore and I love it! My one question is, how would you handle the “hand holding” problem that recent Pokémon games have had? Would you have people telling you where to go constantly? Or leave the exploration up to the player?

A rather glassy team, I suppose.
I was able to get to this team a short time after leaving Siyan(the city with Suri's gym) as I could finally catch Felance near Break Mountain and evolve my Feluna with it in the Asone equivalent of Pokemon Camp, although not completely sure how it works.
With this team, I really hope Asonian Camerupt knows how to swim.
with some replacements, an alternate team would be:

Virulurk
Jolterror
Lucario and Jolterror are still glass cannons, ground and fighting types would trouble about half my team, but this team seems to have a little more bulk.

Stunning region! Love the level of detail and the clever city names. More than anything though, I like how this highlights places and locations in the real world that often get overlooked due to Western media's obsession with portraying the Middle East as just a big desert. There's so much diversity of terrain showcased here!
