I wouldn't say that they old versions are bad. I would say that you were inexperienced at the time and as you learned more about how to actually create pokemon and make them look more like pokemon, you have improved a great deal. And everyone has to start from somewhere and I think your start was actually really good for what you knew at the time.

Your Asone starter base form redesigns adorable! I appreciate the old designs because they weren't bad, but I also appreciate how you incorporate your understanding of design conventions to the redesigns to make them look physically smaller and more childlike. Also the Oxinerate redesign with that action pose is chef's kiss worthy! 😁
Bro. Thrashcendo with Technician with attack stats that high is terrifying to imagine in the competitive scene. I'm sure WolfeVGC or Cybertron would probably say that the speed stat balances it out because faster mons can knock it out and slower mons will need to resist if they want to survive.

But as I'm sure everyone knows, fakemon never seemed to spread far outside of internet forums like Pokecharms an shit. But it seems to me that the niche has grown so significantly the past few years. All of a sudden many of the Poketubers are creating their own fakemon region, etc. I don't know who's to thank for the trendiness of it, but I know Truegreen7 is more or less a dedicated fakemon art channel, and it's almost at 1 million subs. If that isn't indicative of the importance Ron has to the fakemon community, I don't know what is. So thank you for that sir! You're undoubtedly a Pokemon legend. Also LET'S GO 2,000,000+ 2024
One thing I would change is the lionfish's eyes. I'd make the pupils round, like a lion's. Only felines who are shorter end up having slits for eyes. Like snakes, too, their faces are usually inside the grasses, and the vertical slits help them to see horizontal movement better among the very vertical background/foreground.
Somehow I must have missed the Pika-clones evolution video. I think Togederashi is my fave mon of yours yet! Impeccable design, mainly because it looks EXACTLY how a real Pokemon would look! Great job!

Here's a good fakemon idea. What if instead of Eevee's being one Pokemon that has several evolutions. They were several different subspecies that evolved into the eeveelutions.

Favorites? Really love all the dogs. Starrier and Dalmission. Umbreus and Flareus are awesome too, especially since I find Umbreon and Flareon mid at best. 10 poketubers design is a luckluster hit or miss by default but I think you guys nailed it with water purification lizard (forgot the name) and that ice ghost scorpion. Also, loved both of Feraligatr's redesigns
