I mean to be fair to Moxie, the star motif could make the Lumihop line easily mistakable for Cosmic-type, so even if they could've guessed he was gonna add a type, it's still somewhat ambiguous which one he added.
I would definitely not have guessed light... because fairy is practically a light type. That's why everyone expects sound to be the next type, we've already got a light equivalent.

I feel like a current Pokémon artist would not be able to do something like this for legal reasons, someone who has left like James Turner would probably work.
Hydhorsis would be a dope concept. It reminds me of Hakan from Street Fighter a bit. Also, Moxie may break the rules, but the designs and the sheer creativity is nuts! As for another challenge, I'd do one with random shapes; basically everyone has a silhouette to use to draw the same Pokémon but the shape given HAS to be used for the head, body or some part of the body.
The algorithm blessed me with this video today, I have now watched the entire series. I love all the intricacies that go into these designs, from lore to biology to just general art stuff, it picks at a certain part of my brain that most forms of entertainment can't effectively reach. Really enjoyed the series so far, looking forward to more in the future!

I just thought Moxie's kangaroo Pokemon being a grass- electric, being based on a Christmas tree with the electric lights and the star, also being so close to Christmas . ( I could also definitely be reaching!).
This challenge reminds me of a design concept I came up with for my region. It’s an Octopus that’s Psychic/Ghost type. It lacks the water type partly because my region is based on Australia and there are just too many options involving that typing. The other reasons for its type is because it is based on a Glass Octopus, I also wanted to reference the high level of intelligence Octopus have.
Got all of Ron's right; it helps that I know what various plants and flowers are haha I absolutely LOVE Harry's style and concepts; the shapes are SO fun

As soon as someone said that DBS’s horse mon might’ve been a water type, I laughed and was like “yea and it’s a sweaty fighter”… as soon as DBS described that’s literally how his thought process went, I laughed so hard that I went light headed for a few seconds XD
I just wanted Moxie to know that just as much as he loves cats cats love him because the moment he came out ( specifically when he was talking at the beginning of the video ) my cat started petting his face violently😅
