The title scared senior a lot. They thought they have to take a 100 question test.
I had a lot of fun with this because I’m scheduled to be tested before my next birthday. I got all the answers right but, to be fair, I was a driving instructor after I had retired.
I'm confused here I took the test when I was 80 and we had no questions like this at all. Is this new of old because we took vision test, clock test and watched a video.
Minimum following distance under ideal conditions: Q13 says 2 secs BUT Q88 says 3 secs. Which is it as the wording is the same?
I noticed that too.
Maybe if you say 2 1/2 seconds on the test they'll let you pass.
Skilled Driver courses cover use of the 2 second rule to keep a safe distance behind a vehicle in front of you. I noticed the error in #88. It contradicts the 2 second rule that is stated in #13 which is what is taught.😊
Not many questions about the turning signal then you wonder why so many drivers are not signalling before passing, turning or changing lane. Signalling your intentions ahead of time is much more important than signalling your actions.
Some laws in Quebec are quite different from those in Ontario. For example in Quebec , there is no speed limit when passing another vehicle on the highway. I remember driving with a friend from Ontario on a 80 km/h road and he freaked out when I went well over 100 km/h to pass a car doing about 75 km/h. It's good to know these differences. Also a lot of the questions are duplicated later in the test. Maybe they do this to make sure you give the same answer when the question is asked later in the test.
The two second rule is misleading. In a defensive driving course, I was taught you count 1,001, 1,002 from a fixed point of the vehicle you're following. If you arrive at the same point before 1,002 you're following too close. There's a time difference between counting 1,001, 1002, and just 2 seconds. It takes more like 3 to 4 seconds.
Only 1 metre behind a bicycle seems kind of close to me.
Some questions are repeated two or three times.
Written test don't really tell how the person drive.
There is NO test. Just a vision check and draw a clock.
As I get older the drivers become more aggressive. Is it just me or are the power hungry in a hurry people the only ones who drive anymore.
Young women, I keep noticing.
BAC limit is 0.08%
Question One, already incorrect. 80+ requirement is to view a downloaded basic (and I mean basic) video - they don't even check that you've watched it. There's a cursory vision check that takes 10 seconds & then you're asked to draw a clock face with the hands at 10 to 11 or some other simple position, and they give you 5 minutes to do that!
Why are you snitching? As soon as the corrupt politicians see your comments they are going to make the test much harder. Why can’t people ever shut their big mouth?
I wonder if this is some kind of first draft. Several questions are repeated and one question is repeated with different correct answers. Also several questions are really non-questions, as there is only one reasonable choice.
Agreed, It's also narrated by a computer. The speeds are not pronounced correctly. Most of these answers are correct but there are enough errors that the video should be taken down.
If you haven't been in an at fault accident, The only test is to draw a clock showing 11:10. Don't have to watch a video or take a test.
Grandson was told by driving instructor : 2 sec in town, 3 sec on highway & 4 sec on entrance ramp
I’m just wondering why you have the Union Jack flag?
Then how is Brampton allowed a license. 😂😂😂😂
My father said 5-7 seconds depending on hwy speed.
True or False: "Kilometres" should be pronounced "Clawmitters". Answer: False.
They repeated a lot of the questions, true or false! 😎👎
What lights flashing ,yellow or red,or stop sign.
Q 88 - following distance 2 or 3 secs?
2secs
@@lilibethgumpal6635 But Q88 says 3 secs
21 was a repeat!
86 “Start skidding : steer in the direction you want to go and ease off the gas” works only for fwd. for rwd cars you must accelerate in order to get weight to the rear and get traction again. But this is just a drive license test…
You have it backwards
Obviously a test directed only at canadians born on this soil. Immigrants can jump off the boat. Catch a free taxi to Hyundai. And they will be driving before they even know what a stop sign looks like. What an absolute joke.
Since its a Conservative Gov't run down a Liberal you get automatic pass !
Same questions over and over Maybe that was done because old foggies are doing the test.
OMG Its pathetic how many Seniors are aloud to continue to drive after such an easy test. Draw the digits of a clock!. Give me a break! This video is click bait!
A couple questions first: 1. How old are you? 2. How much experience do you have?
1 - 16-25 you don't know enough to make a valued opinion, 25-35 you are just feeling good about your driving and forget that people learn the wrong things easily and it is hard to learn the right way. 35- 80 you are probably set in your ways (good or bad) and this can be a wake-up call.
2 - If you have less than 10 years of experience, then this test is a nice refresher. If you have 10 to 30 years of experience with no accident or ticket for a major event then you are probably in the position to make a valid point on this test. Note: / I didn't say 10 to 30 years old; I said experience.
If you are 75 years old and applying for a license, then you need the test.
BTW, if this is 'clickbait', it is much better than others which are useless.
