I was expecting more🤷♂️. Same everything electronic as ultrix, but I did get it to 'pizza cutter' maneuver!🤪! May add rudder, since it's there, kinda.😁 It does great for what it's designed for/as.
Same basic system as the UMX Ultrix, but different, presumably higher quality, motors. The motors in the Ultrix have bushings. The Otter motors have ball bearings. Looks like a nice little plane.
Nice they upgraded to bearings. That was my main gripe with the umx ultrix. The motors would gunk up and stop working after a while. I've had limited success taking those motors apart and cleaning and oiling them. The better fix was to just buy more motors unfortunately.
@@all_rc I used a needle oiler, and just put a drop through the hole in the nacelle on the end of the motors, then stood the plane up nose down while rotating and pushing in and out on the prop shaft. Used 30wt non detergent motor oil. Oiled once over 100 flights ago, and still going strong. But yeah, ball bearings are SO MUCH better...
That Umx is one of the best I’ve seen!
Surprisingly good!
@@all_rc for the price I would say so!
I few mine two times and sold it. Didn't like it
@@Mikeylikesit1968 would have got it!
This plane is amazing I have been flying it none stop. Flies great!
Better than I presumed!
sweet plane friend!!
nice flight - - some cold and brisk mornings at Apollo :)
I have the bigger one and I love it can’t wait to get the umx version so cool. 👍👍👍👍
Maidening mine tomorrow. Love the umx ultrix. Guess I'll see if it's AS great as the ultrix.
AS great? Not sure about that! The ultrix is in a class of its own! But for a little sporty plane, it's pretty fun!

@ctvxl
WHEN the twotter goes, got ultrix upgrades & parts!😁
What is the max flight time?
Not sure.... wasn't mine but it seems that a teen minute flight might be possible if I was to guess.
