Hi guys, I am a big fan of flight test!!! Thanks for encouraging people to get into the rc world. It would be amazing if you could go back from time to time to the old idea of sharing plans of beautiful planes and also videos teaching how to build it. Thank you again for all you do, great job!!!!
@@RCGemblung In Canada (where I am), you can build whatever you want. To fly any drone/ rc plane over 250 grams in weight requires at least a basic license though (1 month+ paid online course) I am not sure about the situation in other countries.
I think the intention of the batteries being on the front of the motor firewall was to get CG forward as much as possible but there is a side benefit. Cooling. With a monster setup like that the extra cooling on the batteries is a bonus.
I went the other way with the simple cub. I made mine 78% and replaced the regular paper with tissue paper so it would weigh less than 250 grams. AUW is 215 grams. No registration required. The government can call it an "unmanned aerial vehicle" if they want but it's really just a toy airplane.
That was soo cool. I just love the enthusiasm and community love of this that everyone has. Almost makes one feel like they are totally missing out on something big. Keep up the great work everyone. 🥰
Fantastic Cub, love them and this is a great RC example, flys so well would love to have some time on the sticks with that one, all the HEAVY'S are just so good well done to all,, its the year of the HEAVY'S 2022......
This year is the Year of the Giants. but can next year be the Year of the Pixies? I want to see hyper detailed micro planes that look like they can fit easily in one hand like a small Model kit for a shelf, but works and flies using the smallest but most reliable motors, wires, servos, and props
One plane i would like to see is the vultee xp-54 or better known as the "Swoose Goose" be built. From what i heard of it the plane had great flight charateristis it was only betrayed by the motor it had when it was prototyped.
my favorie plane the polikarpov i-16 has a 20 foot wingspan just a bit bigger than this one! you can probly add a much bigger engine and you can fly in it
i don't know where or if i could send recommendations so here it is. If you haven't thought of this already, i think your next plane to put on the store should be of the F-22 raptor. That would be a really cool plane to build and fly i think.
awsome plane.taper the trailing edge of wings and elevators, should help control.also larger lite wt.wheels will help ground control.great plane, guy,s.larry
On the possibility of it going full throttle in reverse. I literally finished the plane that morning so just being cautious, i like my fingers! One is already a bit short from a prop strike 24 years ago.
No, they come in groups. the airframe is one group, the electronics are another package, and the radio is separate. Lots of radio features and price ranges to choose from, after you get electronics, you can swap to another in the same series without buying another motor or battery. go to the Flite test store and pick a plane, watch the build video and you will see everything needed.

The video this time next year: We built a life size 747 and are opening Flitetest airlines!
@@riri..8741 shut up
Flitetest in 2 years : We rebuilt the AN-225 as an RC plane!
@@SemiCollin and in 3 years, the AN-325 8-engine! Lol...
@@TexasKid747 in 4 years : We rebuilt the entire US Air Force in RC!
4 years time multi million dollar US airforce contract to build disposable bombers!
It was a real treat to see this Cub up close and personal at Flite Fest. It is truly an impressive build, and looks great in the air. Great stuff!
Josh is behind some of the coolest builds ever, so it is awesome to see him geek out over someone else's effort.
I used your P-51 plans to design/build a monster F-82 Twin Mustang. My best build yet.
Ive loved this channel for years, especially the giant builds. You guys should make an FDB-1 replica.
i want to see them build a full scale Cri Cri
is there a license required to build such huge plane?

Lincoln did a wonderful job scaling up those plans and it actually flew pretty darned good. Just shows what is possible.
Slow scale RC flying is the absolute BEST!
Y’all make the big huge planes look easy!
"THAT 50% SCALE SIMPLE CUB LITERALLY A HUGH SUCCESS!!!" I wish I could come to an event in the future.
Nice!!! Those planes are crazyyy! Love your vids.
RC planes ARE real planes! 😛
There is no word, phrase or anything, that can explain how ABSOLUTELY KEWL, you guys are! 🤘😎

Bro they just keep doing crazy stuff
You, and Pat Tritle from nm share awesome scale model talent. I love the built-up frame and monokote look!!
Awesome work on this BIGGG! Cub, and great fly!
Me so sad...I came to your booth yesterday but missed you guys at OSH KoSH. Have a great show folks!
Those wheels tho!! LOL

Flitetest y'all rock! Love the channel and content! I'm here for the algorithm! Peace
Clickup is awesome! I use it professionally and it is really cool to see it sponsoring a channel I love!
Skip to 6:47 for the actual flying
Wow, amazing!!

Awesome job on the Cub!
if there is any plane I would love to see on the channel it would probably an f-14 tomcat with working retractable wings
I like how they put that plane together. Gj man
great video guys!!!
I look forward to your vids every week!
The guy's an absolute boss.
This is how you give your grandbabies their first flight in an airplane. You put them in the pilot's seat, and you control it from the ground.
It looks like my first plane - the ultra micro Champ! Love it!
Amazing! I love this channel and the FT team. I have already built a spitfire and simple cub both are awesome! Greetings from Brasil!

It's Spruce Goose because it was made in sprucewood.
@@asrowenj im not talking about the one by howard huges. If you look up vultee xp-54 youll see what i mean
there's a Balsa plan for it in Outerzone
when I saw 'blow up' I got excited.

Amazing model
hi! you should try making a 1:1 scale rc model of the piper cub

Pesawatnya mantap banget om.
Pesawat faforit saya itu
Awesome big planes
"We need some forward ballast"
...
"Where's my sister's dog?!"

Hahaha
You guys need to make a 1:1 scale foam warbird as your next big project with the big cnc machine.
A foam core helicopter would be awesome. Maybe an HH-60 Pave Hawk/Black Hawk/Sea Hawk. It’s my favorite helicopter :)
15th hey josh I’m the kid that came over and got the flerkin f4 Corsair and the g44
😂😂😂😂that’s pretty awesome ..it have got too much power 💥
6:37 MAN NICE LAUGH XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
😂
I’m so glad I got to see you guys Oshkosh 2022 was so fun flight test made it better✈️🛩
Went to Oshkosh for the first time this year. Really fun. If you saw any L-39s, I might have worked on them.
Nice
Cool planes there can y’all make a rc f6f hell cat with air soft and working missiles-and bombs ? Love the videos
Glad to see your still kicking it Lincoln![
Where are the tundra tires?
Hey James! good to hear from you. Yea those six inchers are tiny. the Flite test guys are going to print me some ten or twelve inchers.
That is a thing of Beauty.
with a plane so big, could a small person fly it? What is max pay load
Hi from France, what is the motor and how many Lipo, thevsize of propeller? Thanks you.
awsome plane.taper the trailing edge of wings and elevators, should help control.also
larger lite wt.wheels will help ground control.great plane, guy,s.larry
Hey guys, you should make an aircraft carrier boat and take off and land some planes off it.
Make a Ane a person can fly please and you guys are amazing keep it up
Will we get a video of the monster C-47 on this channel or somewhere else?
hello, may i ask , What size and Kv of the Brushless motor you are using to tower that 555% simple cub?
Sorry i haven't checked this lately. Its a150 KV 100cc equivalent motor. 12S turning a 30x8 prop using jetti 300 amp esc.
Really cool plane and video. I am inspired to build one and buy a drone. Great footage.
So total awesome men great job
LINDO AEROMODELO!!!! PARABÉNS
where...is this event??
Have you guys thought about how you’re gonna do this when you have to have remote id
I think I used to fly with Lincoln about 20 years ago in the Daytona Beach/Deland area. He had a big ultimate bipe with Snoopy on the tail.....
Hey John, its been 22 years....
That accident at @2:05 was the slowest, most gentle crash I've ever seen.
That take off, totally stol plane. The year of the giants.
I'm just curious, but is Edgewater open to any RC Flyers that want to fly, or is it an exclusive Club?
I'd like to see a massive build of Vaders Executor ship scaled to other Star destroyers you guys made. That would be awesome!
That airplane has the same ground coverage as a single place Pitts
Thats a awesome build next u guys should put a kid in it and fly it lol.
Nice work. Now it needs big wheels!
Why wouldn't you add weight by adding more batteries?
very expensive!
Try make the J7W1 shinden
Big fan since near the beginning. Hope this new remote drone ID thing in USA doesn't ruin flight test.
Wow amazing one broz
Where did y'all find the motor shaft (10mm) to propeller adapter? I've been looking for these for months!
This motor has a 8mm shaft. Amazon sells a Uxcell brass tube 10mm x 1mm wall that presses tight in the prop.
I want to see a build video on that giant DC3 at the end.
more from the DC3 please ❤️
That looked fun... And it's simple too, you just trade Altitude for Airspeed and off you go 😆😆😆
Fun to watch.
when are you making an RC plan that can carry a person i think we need to move forward with this
Nice
its the second part of 2022 and we saw 4 big planes and there is still 4 months so we ask for more ;D
Next year, we also want to see all big planes flying together at the same time
Why did he make the trailing edges square and not knife edge shaped? Awesome plane
I did it intentionally, it's to keep with the theme of the original small foamboard kit its scaled from. it's totally cartoon scale .
Hey, i just got the simple cub. It is awesome, I already wing ripped though. Keep up the good work, God bless
an awesome plane to see would be a SU-57. It would also be cool as a kit.
+First impression: The landing gear support structure on that Cub seems much too light.
Why does Josh hold the prop why arming the esc?
On the possibility of it going full throttle in reverse. I literally finished the plane that morning so just being cautious, i like my fingers! One is already a bit short from a prop strike 24 years ago.
I have a question for you guys... do all your kits come with all the things you need to fly it? Like a remote, engine, props, etc.?
No, they come in groups. the airframe is one group, the electronics are another package, and the radio is separate. Lots of radio features and price ranges to choose from, after you get electronics, you can swap to another in the same series without buying another motor or battery. go to the Flite test store and pick a plane, watch the build video and you will see everything needed.
@@lincolnharris3191 Ok thanks so much!
WITH HUGE PLANES LIKE THIS MIGHT WANT TO THINK ABOUT LEAD ACID BATTERIES TO HELP WITH THE CG.
555% Cub amazing 😊
All planes are real. Some just bigger than others.
Maybe i missed it, where does he talk about the power plant setup?
it's a Turnigy Ca80 160KV motor, castle creations 160Hv speed control, 11600MA 12S battery and 28x12 xoar pjn prop.
