really want to learn how to do the cover, esepcially how to stitch the band, how do u stich on the overlap with all the extra gatherin's from the round suface.
    nice vid, thank you!

I cut the circle out of a piece of fabric. I used the stool top as the circle and cut the fabric 1/2" bigger all around the circle. Next, I stitched the band, or boxing around the circle. To finish it off, it did some simple overlapping and topstitching. I've got it down to a science now. I'll have to do a video of that. Thanks for commenting. Now go make an ottoman!!!

This video starts with 85% ottoman project COMPLETE. Viewers will not get to see what the ottoman looked like before the process began. It is not shown how the fabric was applied to the circle shape ottoman. There is piping on this ottoman as well. It was not mentioned nor covered on how to apply the piping. This video ONLY shows how to tack down the fabric when it is already on the ottoman and how to staple the lining to bottom. How does this video teach or help anyone? Unless there is a part one to this video that I missed, I've found this to video to be quite unhelpful.

Hey you all. The sole point of this video is to show you how to get a sewn round covering attached evenly around a stool base. It's a little tricky, so that's why I made this video. The sewing of the ottoman was never going to be part of this video. It's only meant to be a quick workshop that shows the stapling. Thanks for watching. I can do a million more videos of how to create round ottomans and covers. xoxox
