It’s funny knowing that lilsimsie and Deli both asked the sims team for a second “different clutter” version of a bookshelf! Deli with the one she used and lilsimsie with the other one that she used!

Yeah I think we asked for a few or the same items, we knew players would want more while building and repeating things

Lots of crossover taste which is why there are a lot of crossover fans especially considering Kayla is a exterior forward builder and Maddie isn't so much I've found that really interesting
the worlds and builds have been so good since they started asking you all to do the builds for packs. I love this.

The Sims really did play into what the builders were good at. Lil simsie got the blue craftsman and Deli got traditional with modern updates.
I want to give you a huge round of applause!! Building for the sims you must have a lot of pressure and I’m sure you have to have patience. The fact that you built a house without most of the build items is amazing!❤❤

The toys you placed by the fairy house is such a touching detail! I love that because I would have played with my toys on it too. So cute.

I absolutely love this build and the way you were describing it and the vibe and looks you wanted of a lived in almost generational home. The interior reminds me so much of my grandparents home. They lived there for 20 years (just recently downsized) and my grandfather was a carpenter and they built and changed that house to exactly how they wanted it, and changed things to how they wanted them, updated things to look more modern (i use that word sparingly 😂😂) they kept it decorated with all their old and grand furniture that my grandmother has loved for 50 years or things that my grandfather built but also had their brand new fancy recliners and tv and grandchildren's things everywhere. I'm really hoping to be able to afford this pack so that I can play in this build. ♥♥♥

You did such a great job Deli, especially with having a limit on the items you used and thinking of sim routing. It looks so nice (especially compared to base game maxis) not to mention the build and buy items in this pack look so good!
Deli, I really feel like this is one of the best builds you've ever done. The first bathroom during your final walkthrough, with the dark herringbone tiles and the half-tiled walls, gave me such a flashback to older homes I've been to in Chicago, that I actually could briefly smell the underlying mildew that such homes often have. The only thing missing was worn spots on the floor tiles. Your loving attention to small details in the rest of the house was top-notch. It's easy to see the care and pride you put into this build. I'm looking forward to playing this house when the expansion comes out.
I really love the build from the thumbnail! The windows and the bricks look particularly great (putting aside the fact that I love the whole build, haha).

I love that fairy house too! My mom has quite a few in her backyard, even though there are no longer small children to play with them; we didn’t have any in our backyard when we were little.
You are right about the use of homely! Where I am in the US, “homely” means plain -not ugly but also not pretty. We use “homey” to mean home-like (or for that warm, comfortable
Vibe that your parents/grandparents’ house gives) and “comely” for pretty or attractive (it’s an old word though, so hardly anyone uses it).
Oh yeah that's a known bug where things disappear from furniture that slot together. 🙃 DHD shelving and all desks that are slotted under bunk beds. The stuff on the shelves/desks are moved to the family inventory each time you load that lot yayyyy

Its crazy, I was just recreating a farm house style build that needed those triangle windows but we didn't have any!
Craftsman style houses are my favorite style of house and I am so excited this back brings in more craftsman build mode items!!!!

the bug with the disappearing items under bunk beds has been there since bunk beds got introduced, at this point i never really put anything beneath them because it just disappears anyways :(

Note to self... do NOT play poker with lilsimsie and Deli.. the poker faces and lack of tells, those 2 have shown over the last year are scary...play poker with them and go home wearing a barrel.
You, Kayla and dzidziak did such amazing jobs, the lots look awesome and very well thought out. Already mentioned this, but I really love the vacation home you build - though the longer I look at your builds, the more I like the layout of the library the best and your idea with the color coded kids areas is so smart! I can't wait to finally move my family to San Sequoia, I'll probably change your vacay house into an actual home
If EA ever decides to go back and build their own lots for any future pack we're all going to riot

My favorite part of this build is Tala eats at the bar. I was raised in a roadside honky tonk & it takes me home you know.
Those windows will be awesome for a craftsman cabin with the ceiling cut out to see up to the roof! Omg I’ve been trying to make that with what we had the other day and couldn’t find the right thing! Ohhhh I’m so excited!!

Interesting to hear your way of thinking next to it. It is so funny to see this as an architect. It would be definitely possible to build this in real life but construction wise also super unlogical hahah
Haha, it must be funny when you have the construction knowledge watching sims builds. I’ve learnt some tips like making sure the doors swing the correct way and not into the toilet etc
Yes it’s mainly a restriction actually to think about construction and I love to see the creativity in your builds! Will definitely be playing in this house 😃

Love this build, so excited to try these new wall papers and items. The shingle siding I hope comes in green so I can build my childhood home properly :) also love the attention to detail with toys outside !!!
This house feels so homey and lived in. My favorite room is the kid's room surprisingly lol. All the little details are nice too especially the toys around the fairy house.

One of my strongest childhood memories is getting off the school bus at my Nana’s house, to find her bent over in the garden building a fairy garden. It was so magical to help her and to imagine the fairies visiting. I love that touch so much. ❤

The build items in this pack bring me back to my favorite house growing up. It was a tiny Craftsman-style home. The thick deeply-stained wood arches, stained glass windows, clawfoot tub, secret nooks, and original hardwood floors made it such a unique place to live. It's too bad it was in an awful part of town and we needed to move away, because I loved the house.

I wish all of the pre-placed houses in the expansion packs were like this! It’s absolutely gorgeous and you can definitely see the personality and personal preferences shine through in each of the Sims’ rooms. And the landscaping is also so beautiful!

The desk chair and items bug has been around for a while. It was happening to me over and over a couple months ago but its just under the bunk beds even when the desks slot it

I hope you use the retro kitchen in stove and fridge because if you look in some of the celebrity homes nowadays there is this trendy brand that came out it's Italian I believe and they specialize in making very modern ovens and refrigerators that are modern and retro at the same time You should look at the brand up because I think that's what the Sims modeled their new kitchen items from

Wow. I'm getting this pack simply for the build/buy items - chef's kiss to them all :D In the USA, we use Homey to mean your Homely and we say Homely to mean ugly ;-)
In the US we say “Homey” so no l. When it’s homely it’s plain not very attractive.

Sadly the bug of items on a desk being deleted under a bunkbed has existed for a long time. I've fought with it before only to determine I was only putting dressers under there until they fix the bug.
