I own these pedals and they are a great buy, But , You have to do a lot of adjustments and like you said even some DIY. Once you get them set they are great. Although I ended up buying a simagic heel plate.
@@derodge very true. Great pedals after some tweaking and diy adjustments. An extra heelplate was a good idea 👍 that way I dont need to drill holes on the pedal surface to lower them.
I just bought these to replace my ancient Fanatec pedals, as the throttle was starting to fail. What a waste of money. I don't have a rig, just a wheelstand; with my fanatecs, no problem. These though just tip up at the front unless I have my foot on the baseplate, holding it down. Worse though is the height of the pedals, and the weird angle they sit at. My toes slip off the pedals if I just bend my ankle, so I have to kind of slide my heels along the - too short - baseplate. At least the Fanatecs are adjustable. All this is before I've even plugged them in...
Yea these pedals are pretty useless unless you have a sturdy rig with a lot of adjustment options. I can agree with about the angle and not being able to adjust it, and the height. But when having them mounted correct they feel very nice to use. I have no issues with the size of the heelrest. But the height of the pedals using socks feels a little high. Perfect when using shoes though.
that was something I got from amazon. Really happy with the results. I'm thinking of modding more of my simetik k2 with those alu profiles. Mostly on the shifter and handbrake support. So I can attach some screens and buttonboxes more clean. the alu profiles are 400 mm long and fits really nicely on the simetik plate. Feels good to be able to slide the pedals to find a good position really easy
Storleken och skillnad i vikt gör en del för FFB känslan faktiskt. McLaren ratten har mindre diameter och är lättare (tror jag 😅). Det gör att ffb känns starkare med lite mer detaljer i McLaren ratten.

I have the K3. For this model Simetik has the aluminum bar for shifter, mouse pad,… They also have an aluminum pedal support for K2/K3.
@@vb_matic4166 Yea I have seen that. I really like the K2. But the K3 looks really amazing. I like the small footprint of these rigs.
