you obviously have no idea what you're talking about Ryan Mark Kendall is an amazing guitarist and a great guy a close personal friend and also in that nightclub fire happened that was not great white playing there that was Jack Russell with Mark helping him out financially and a couple other guys at Market never even met before Mark was so traumatized from that that he couldn't touch your guitar for 6 months it was not Mark or Jack's fault it was the owner's fault of the Station nightclub and also the fire marshal for approving the insulation that was in there so quit ragging on Mark when you don't know what you're talking about Mark is one of the most underrated guitarists in rock and roll and also one of the best
Ian Hunter was the original artist that did this song, Great White just covered it, but they definitely did it justice, I like their album version better than the original...
Ian hunter didn’t get any money with the original but got over a million dollars from Great White when it became huge hit huge success and sold only as a single over a million copies only in USA besides the sales of the albums that reached 2,85 million copies only in USA.
@@elsieservant6963 ha! Honestly, we are all a bit tired an older from the days of when this song first was done. Lastly we all are a wretch as well. Unless, of course we've been saved by Jesus. Possibly you know the famous song " Amazing Grace"... Hopefully Jack does, as I'm a huge fan. I bet you're too 😉!
None of the great white member went to jail and not even accused, the members don’t deal at all with those arrengements and kinda stuff,it’s management thing.
@@renatohebeja2665 yeah the 26 yr old was telling great white what they would and wouldn’t do……. O boy, reread what I said, management …. And the club owners……. The family’s said the bands manager was a scapegoat. And to this day great white isn’t played on the radio around here…..
I remember hearing this while working in a grocery store when I was 16. Memories.
This is one of the few covers that's better than the original. Yes, Great White covered it. Originally by Ian Hunter.
Exactly!
Tied with CANT EXPLAIN covered by The Scorpions 🤘🏼
Great music I like this song
Well the times are gettin' hard for you little girl
I'm a hummin' and a strummin' all over God's world
You can't remember when you got your last meal
And you don't know just how a woman feels
You didn't know what rock 'n' roll was
Until you met my drummer on the grey tour bus
I got there in the nick of time
Before he got his hands across your state line, yeah
Now it's the middle of the night on the open road
The heater don't work and it's oh, so cold
You're lookin' tired, you're lookin' kinda beat
The rhythm of the street sure knocks you off your feet
You didn't know how rock 'n' roll looked
Until you caught your sister with the guys from the group
Halfway home in the parkin' lot
By the look in her eye she was givin' what she got
I said my, my, my, I'm once bitten twice, shy babe
My, my, my, I'm once bitten twice shy baby
My, my, my, I'm once bitten twice shy baby
Ah, woman, you're a mess, gonna die in your sleep
There's blood on my amp and my Les Paul's beat
Can't keep you home, you're messin' around
My best friend told me you're the best lick in town
You didn't know that rock 'n' roll burned
So you bought a candle and you lived and you learned
You got the rhythm, you got the speed
Mama's little baby likes it short and sweet
I said my, my, my, I'm once bitten twice, shy baby
My, my, my, I'm once bitten twice shy babe
My, my, my, I'm once bitten twice shy baby
Alright!
I didn't know you had a rock 'n' roll record
Until I saw your picture on another guy's jacket
You told me I was the only one
But look at you now, it's dark as it's done
Oh my, my, my, I'm once bitten twice, shy babe
My, my, my, I'm once bitten twice shy baby
My, my, my, I'm once bitten twice shy baby
My, my, my, I'm once bitten twice, shy
So shy
Oh so shy
So shy, baby
So shy
So shy, so shy
So, so shy, so shy
Seen them live with POISON & RATT back in 90's .....🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Rock 2022 Sensual.🌈
Jack was a bad ass back in the day!!
How could they do this song without the piano?
noooo doubt , great live performance , but missin a critical piece of this song , the keys ;)
Second guitar is playing the notes on acoustic guitar.
Never saw another song from MTV Unplugged than that Zeppelin cover song

It's a shame those people died in that club. The management was careless
They use wigs?? really?
Everything about this band and Jack Russell is underrated. Fuck people that don't know beyond their eyelids.
Still never played around here because of it and great white management and the club were both at fault and both went to jail just not for long enough

nice work but the guitar solo unplugged was lame.
It couldn’t be any better than this in unplugged version
