Jack Russell is, without question, in the top 5 vocalists in RnR history. Back in the 90s they played a place called 8 Second Saloon in Indy. Jack and Mark were in the parking lot just outside the doors just shooting the schitt before the show and I walked right past them and didn't realize that I'd just missed my opportunity to say hey and meet them until they hit the stage. They had cut off all that RnR hair and I didn't recognize them. Was like they were in the parking lot of a grocery store on the way in. No one was with them so I must not have been the only one. 🙆
Such an underrated album ! when it first came out the record company did not push it at all... I didn't even know it was out.I bought KISS tickets and they were on the bill supporting the album. It's the first time I heard anything about it. One of my favorite albums to this day
They backed up Alice Cooper on the Trash tour in Belfast and in a venue notorious for bad acoustics were absolutely on point, AC afterwards was absolutely awful and had people leaving
CRAZY under rated band. Great white was phukin badass back in their day. One of the top five 80s/90s rock bands in my opinion. Jack had a sound of his own. Damn I wish I had a time machine.
Saw Great White in Vancouver, in 1996 or so in a bar/club.. man ! They opened up with Call it RnR, Jack jumping and spinning on stage. Oh my.. to this day.. best show in my life. And on top of that, after the show, I went outside in the parking lot. Where the tour bus was parked.. Got to talked to Jack in the parking….. he was so nice . We chatted for a while… Jack was so nice…….. so chill.. so cool.. 😢 I have such great memory of Jack Russel. Rest in Peace Jack.
the so called music industry thinks they know what we want to rock to, boy are they very wrong this is rock an roll you bunch of losers. I am sixty one years young and still love to listen to good rock music.
Jack Russell was one of the very best singers of his time, radio play did nothing to propel Great Whites popularity. Still and forever listening to this awesome music from very talented musicians. Rock on Jack.....🎸🎤🥁🔥😢😭
Psycho City is a great album !!!! They should have gotten more recognition. Solid well written songs. Not lame crap like some bands. To bad they can’t get along.
not that I'm wildly disagreeing with you because I also thought Hooked was a great record but I think they hit their stride in the biggest and best way on Psycho City. All the parts came together for me on that record.
@@markmailloux4472nice take . Yeah psycho city is phenomenal. Everything from 1987s Once Bitten through 1999s can’t get there from here is great white at their absolute peak . That 10-12 year period they were so good. house of broken love is my favorite all time song , such a tasty guitar driven tune . Would love to see more footage especially from this time period.. hard to find
I'm in agreement on House of Broken Love Matt. Just a hair behind it is Old Rose Motel. I love the piano in the song and the production value on that record is miles better than Twice Shy.@@mattmacarthur520
I saw this tour in Feb 1993 at a large rock bar venue called Ziggy's in Winston Salem NC. They were off the chain badass. Awesome venue too. We called it Ziggy's Thunderdome. Great White is one of my favorite live bands, saw them another 5 times after this show.
I was at key club in Hollywood, great white does zeppelin concert,oh my lord, wow .. This guy next to me said is this led zeppelin, I laughed and said no it's great white..lol. myself and friends loved great white with Jack Russell singing, good stuff man you need to listen to CD....truth...
I went to this show in Detroit and recall at the time that I'd never seen a band's singer just kill it live better than Jack Russell did that night. I watched Trixter and Great White and left before Kiss came on. There's no way they would have matched up to this!
My favorite band love the blues.one bad ass band seen then 15 times live wow....you missed it if you never saw them in the day ...the girls in mini skirts hi heals...wow so much fun
As a n 80s era guitar player, I hate when the vocals, solos, and fills aren't EXACTLY like the studio version. A lot of bands can't perfectly recreate the original version live. These guys do NOT fall into that category.
Saw them at The Spinnaker beach club in Panama City FL in the mid 1990's. They rocked the foundation loose that night. So under rated. Love that guitar. Same one he played then.
born ectomorph live mesomorph I was there too. Got so high we stole a go fast boat and ended up on Anna Maria Island the next afternoon and left the boat beached on a sandbar and caught a trolley back to where it ferrys back n forth ,I think it was in town n country in Tampa . That was just a normal night back in those days. I'm 52 now and not in prison, knock on wood and still alive!
@@higgpigg4326 wow!! sounds you had a bunch of adventures back in the 80's early 90's era man!! hahahaaa!!! Or Misadventures i bet!!! i just turned 50 yesterday Sept 6th and i have had a few myself, but i love your story and i bet you have a few!!! feel free to share bro!!! Peace & Rock on!!!
Great white is number #1

Psycho City - one of the most underrated albums in the world.
Лучший альбом у Great White!

PSYCO CITY is a masterpiece from start to finish.Wore this album out !
Im here in 2024 after hearing about Jack Russells death......Damn, im gonna miss him big time!!!!
It's actually amusing that Great White recorded by a fan at the show is better live than most bands are on "official" live recordings!
They sound phenomenal live . It’s really amazing how underrated this band was .
recoreded on God knows what in 1992. You're so right
This is when Jack & the boys were firing on ALL cylinders and in there prime man!!!! great video for sure!!!! Thank you "Manou HellsRocks"!!!!
They backed up Alice Cooper on the Trash tour in Belfast and in a venue notorious for bad acoustics were absolutely on point, AC afterwards was absolutely awful and had people leaving

I love the sound of this band . There so tight and on key . It’s mind blowing .
RIP Jack. Saw this show in Johnson City TN on Halloween night 1989. Great White, Tesla, and Badlands.
One of the best blues based rock n roll bands there ever was. These guys do Zeppelin better than Zeppelin.
ABSOLUTELY!!!!!
The Led Zep tribute album is as good as they come
💯
Actually they are just one of the best bands ever.
House of broke love is one of the best guitar driven songs EVER written.. so dang good such an underrated band

Great tune and some of the nicest dudes on the planet
Album "Hooked" was a real MASTERPIECE to me. The boys in their most glorious form.
Long Live Rock n Roll baby!!!! 🚬 🍺 🎸 👙 💃

Saw this tour in Nashville and they absolutely killed. RIP Jack
Wow! what a perfection
Miss this great band, the 80's, and the 90's too...

yeah, we left early into kiss's set here in Oakland...
2:58 what a great band and a great singer, RIP, Jack! Your voice will be missed, and echo through the ages at the same time!
Wowza - no denying that! Perfection on this killer tune!

R.I.P. Jack Russell Always Loved, Never Forgotten Forever Miissed.
Jack Russel is such a killer vocalist, he sounds better than the studio version in this vid
Thank you so much for posting this. Truly outstanding live version of this great song, appreciate it
Didn’t think I’d be able to find a live version of this, rock on brother
My favorite GW tune! Saw these guys on this bill with Trixter and KISS at their Denver show, back in the day.
