Jeff Favignano Do you know what went wrong? Because I believe I already spotted the problem.. your PFD displays VNAV which means the AP is following whatever was programmed in the FMS, I’m assuming that’s why you got below 7000.. buttered that landing though 👍

Great flying Jeff! I was scrolling through the comments before I thought about posting this. I wouldn't qualify myself as a pro or noob to flying. It seems as though in your approach, the moment you turned on VOR LOC (30:00), the plane started to descend. I bet you by turning on ALT HLD (Altitude Hold), this will help if not solve your problem.

Hey can you give me some advice? How do you make your rudder pedals perform like in real life? It is way easier to stay straight in real life. I cant stay center line for nothing. I have changed sensitivity in just about every combo.

MS FS has a few airports that do the same. Richmond, Va is one of them. Turns out the ILS for runway 16 is set for a back course approach or it's the ILS for 34 just at the wrong end of the runway. When you capture the localizer, the system thinks you have gone past the runway and immediately starts to descend 10 miles out. There's also a problem with the local compass around the airport. Richmond Departure will vector you out 180° from your flight plan and then go silent, waiting for you to reach your intended course - which you never do because you are flying the other way. It's the fault of the programmer that set the airport up. In MS FS it's difficult to change because all the data is in binary in the scenery file for the airport. You learn the airports with the backwards ILS and learn to approach and land by the seat of your pants, which I normally take full control anyway between the middle and inner marker for any landing.

Think Zibo is still working out some AP bugs. I didn't notice anything you did wrong to cause it to break the alt restrictions. Keep eyes on that PFD at all times but being a solo pilot it's easy to overlook while doing checklists in preparation for landing. You handled the issue pretty well got the plane on the ground and luckily KDEN is in a pretty flat area :D

Jeff did you figure out why it was descending below 7000? Was it maybe the altimeter? Denver is pretty high elevation.

"400" callout is used to engage the desired roll mode. In this case you couldve set lnav at that moment, so you have fd guidance inyour first turn. Just nitpicking tho. Nice job.

yes it does have VR native inside XP11, however I use a program called flyinside xplane that does a much better job.

At least the landing was butter ;-) I had that happen to me in FSX before, ILS approach seems normal and all of a sudden the aircraft starts descending even though glide slope is far from captured, had to manually take over. Wrecks the whole flight :-(
What do you use for the jet bridges?
In all 15 years I've been flying into KDEN I've NEVER had a approach into 26, ever. Plenty of 17/16 and 34/35 landings, but otherwise great video

I wonder why you don't use the (free) terrain radar plugin. it comes with a weather radar too.
btw you're using the wrong mode on the clock. use ET (hr:min), not CHR (min:sec). CHR mode starts from zero after one hour
Maybe you answered in the video at some point, but why is the ground all white around never? Snow??? If so, how did you get that? I have the US Orthophotos for most of the U.S. but those are mostly summer or autumn photos.
