Re-volt was very ahead of their time considering what games looked in 1999, if games today were made with as much love and effort today, it would problaly look and feel not much different from *real life*. The physics and graphic and even the toy aspect of the cars were just astonishing

The quality of Re-volt's physics is off the charts. The other games look like low-budget games made by diverting engines from full-scale car simulators. I miss Acclaim. They were an excellent group of engineers.
Everybody's praising Re-Volt here I'll be the one that praises RC Revenge. That game was THEE best RC driving experience ever. Amazing tracks and vehicle selection and they handled exactly the way RC cars do.

I'm glad RC Mini Racers is on here. There was a website that used to host that game for free and I spent A LOT of time on it. Eventually bought it on Steam like 10 years later for the nostalgia. :)

Tamiya 417 touring car is in VRC Pro. Not exactly any of Tamiya's older, more famous models, but something at least. Not sure why the trailing camera was chosen to showcase VRC, as it makes it look like another arcadey Mario Kart ripoff, when VRC is a proper sim, with a driver's stand view.

I have the Traxxas Edition, which includes more race tracks. Soccer and Battle Ball were both included as side battle events. I wish the 3D Ultra games would get more love, but unfortunately they now seem to be owned by Activision, who don't seem to care for the lesser known Sierra classics. Thank goodness we have Contraption Maker, which I've had little to no issue running on Linux.
There was a mobile game that was like rc revenge in 2010+ i believe and it was very similar to that, powerups different maps and more, anyone knows what that game is called and if its still there?
Hot take; with trailing cams and weapons, 90% of these games are just reskinned Mario Kart, and really nothing to do with "RC". The fact that the Bandito from GTA5 is like the 3rd or 4th most realistic RC car experience, shows just how badly there needs to be more proper RC sims, besides VRC Pro and Recharge RC.
Rollcage, Micro Machines and Circuit Superstars are not RC. Ones a futuristic racer, ones micro sized toy cars with drivers and ones a top down racer. Also, VRC Pro and RC Simulation look like garbage. And the fact that I own both of them on Steam, concerns me...

Rollcage isn't an RC cars game. There is even an intro video where you can see the car being like 3 meters tall.
