With as long and as difficult as this course is, and this being Rick's first time playing it... a 79 with no double/triple bogeys is a FANTASTIC score. Your play has vastly improved the last few episodes, some of the earlier episodes your score always would get wrecked by 1 or 2 disaster holes (like, even par over 16 of the 18 holes, but then a double and a triple on the other two holes gives you a 77). Possibly your best video to date. Ryan seems such a nice genuine guy and what a golfer and a beautiful golf course. Absolutely loved that. Out done yourself Rick.
@Rick, I watched this entire video, as I have watched most of your break 75 videos. I’m not one to normally dispense advise, but there’s a very easy way for you to shave 2 or 3 strokes off your score. The shorter putts. My advise would be this: 1. Concentrate. They are not gimme’s. I see you rush it. 2. Take that practice stroke as you would the longer putt. Rehearse it. 3. Move the ball just slightly back in your stance. This will shorten your backstroke and prevent overpacing and lipping it out. Save several strokes per round.
Came here looking for this. I live in Florida and courses that aren’t over-seeded from wall to wall it is a common move to move your ball because the grass does get super tough to deal with. But if he was doing that all day it makes it much easier for someone of his caliber to go low. Still a great player non the less.
Great to see another Australian golfer on your show, Rick. With his dad's talents, you might have thought Ryan would be on the grass courts ...... Ray Ruffels was an Australian Open semi-finalist in 1968, 1969 and 1975, and a quarter-finalist in 1970 and 1977. In 1978, partnering with Billie Jean King in mixed doubles competition, Ruffels reached the final at Wimbledon and the US Open. He was a member of the Australian Davis Cup team in 1968, 1969, 1970, and 1977. Ryan's sister Gabriela goes all right as well ...... Gabriela Ruffels, the one-time Australian tennis starlet who turned her hand to golf instead, continues to ace her 'adopted' sport as her best finish yet on the Ladies European Tour (LET) has again demonstrated .... tied for 11th.

This was probably my favorite episode of the break 75 series. Idk why but it was great. The chemistry of Rick and his guest was so effortless. You definitely need to feature Ryan back on your channel. A young kid who was humble and over played his role. This episode just worked. Good job guys!
Never over played his role *
Not seen Ruffels before - so positive about his game and Ricks. Great optimistic, and realistic, attitude. What a playing partner. Hope he returns!
Great finish, Rick. Really good scores on a tough track by both you and Ryan. Lot of fun.
Ryan vs Robbo now that would be some B E A utiful golf to watch.
Well played Rick tough course and a very respectable score 👏
Hi Rick and thanks for another great match! Worthy of mentioning is Arnold Palmer was behind Isleworth in the mid-80's and was the course designer. Fantastic course, thanks again love your channel!
Rick.. really well played on a brutal course.Ryan was fantastic. The beauty of that course could make a golf liver weep! Excellent video!
^oops.. I meant golf lover!
This was just great. So positive round no negative talk even in bad lies. It improves the play, learn everybody.
I love Ryan. What a lovely lovely man. He is who you need in your corner through every walk of life. Top top bloke.
Mr. Ruffels, youve earned yourself a lifelong fan! What a mate!
I never see you hit fades. I could be wrong but I see you hit draws all the time, I actually love your swing Rick. Rip that draw and break 70 already. You have the game. It’s all decision making and course management. I believe in you Rick, I’m rooting for you. 🔥
Camera work is amazing on these, great job. Great watch. Cheers
Thanks!
Ive watched all the "Break 75's " and i think i can confidently say .... This is the best one yet 👍
Possibly the best break 75 I’ve ever watched!!! Well done Rick, didn’t even hit it that well, some serious scrambling skills on show 👍
This is my favorite of all your videos Rick because of Ryan. He is an incredible golfer and a great golf partner. I will follow his game closely from now on. 👍
