I just picked up the slightly bigger cousin to the R50, the R10. I got the RF 18-150 mm zoom. It's actually a really solid entry level lens. Because it has a 28.8 - 240 mm full frame equivalent range, it covers a really useful range, particularly for travel / vacation.
Hi Karen sorry for late reply. I think the RF 24 to 105 is a great starter lens for travel. Nice zoom range and good image quality. Thanks for watching
Hello sir, is the 7:49 , 24-70f2.8 a lense who can be uses inatead.of the other cheaper lenses? Is that better to buy it instead of.buying the rf35mm rf50mm rf 85mm ? Why is the reason that people buy all the 35,50 and 85 instead of just buy the 24-70f2.8? I hope you can share with me your knowledge and your answer. Thank you in advance.
Hi, thank you for the video. So in order to use the RF 50mm lens on my R50 camera I don't need an adapter, right? I thought I needed one. What's the difference then between RF and RF-S lenses?
What would you suggest for a beginner and multi-purpose lense? This will be my first camera I’m buying and Ive heard so many different suggestions and reviews that I’m honestly not sure which lense to buy
Hi mate to start with the kits lens could be enough. Just learn the craft a little. Then you could look at something different. The mid zoom range is always a good point. The Canon 24 to 105 is nice. It's about 600 au and is pretty decent. I had it and it was great.
I recently. Bought the R100 2 kit lens and realized the 18-45 and 55-210 wasn’t good enough for what i was doing which was indoor sports with ok lighting, I would suggest getting the canon 50mm you can do a lot with that lens, and also looking for a used zoom lens ranging from short distance no longer than 135 depending on your usage, just make sure you do your research and get good with 1 lens before you buy another
Inexpensive small light R50 + inexpensive small light prime lenses (RF 16mm F2.8 STM, RF 28mm F2.8 STM, RF 35mm F1.8 MACRO IS STM, RF 50mm F1.8 STM) = perfect combination for almost any scenario. It will give you the following full-frame equivalents: 25.6mm, 45mm, 56mm and 80mm). Covers most of the needs: from landscapes to portraits.
Hi! I'm an equestrian content creator, I'm not sure about rhis camera... Is it suitable and make and has high quality/really clear videos? I'd film while galloping and jumping❤ Or other cameras are better? And also what lenses would be the best keeping in mind like I'd do videoshooting of me riding and jumping so zooming at shows and we can be akso very distant to the subject, so what lenses would be good?❤ Both low price and high price 🫰🏻
Does not have in-body-image-stabilization (ibis), so will likely produce very shakey footage if you film while riding. In general, it is not large for this style of camera but would still probably not be a good choice for filming while on a horse. You are probably much better off looking at some kind of action camera like a GoPro or maybe even a dji osmo gimbal camera.

Thank you for the tips just what i was looking for!
Your welcome my friend, thank you for watching 🙏🙏🙏
what would you recommend as a 1st and long run minded multi-purpose lens?
Hey mate you could go the 18 to150 or the 24 to 105 both offer good coverage. I personally would go the non L series 24 to 105 if I was to choose.
what you think about sigma 18-35mm f1.8
What about the Canon EF 24-105 mm f4? with an adapter.
its a great lens, i would suggest the RF version of you can. Its very good.
@@conorphoto Thank you!

or just get the 28 to 70 f2, its like having the prime equivelants in one lens,
thank you nice content to love my rf-s 18-45 & 50 1.8 rf with my r10
Thoughts on the 28mm pancake lense for a midrange-portrait starter lense on the r50?
Hi Mate, great lens. Small, light f2.8 i Have the 24mm older pancake lens adapter and i love the focal length on the APSC.
Great content, just one thing, the 50mm f/1.8 on a crop sensor, (1.6 factor) does not remain at 1.8 on the lens ...

Hi mate you are correct you do not need an adapter for RF or rfs lenses.

I own both the Canon 5D Mark IV and the R50. I know the R50 isnt full frame, would i be able with a converter use a Full Frame lense with the R50?
Easy mate just get an RF to Ef adapter and they all work
@@conorphoto thank you for the answer!

Thank you Sir 🙏🙏🙏
Why didn’t they just make normal names for all these lenses .. lots of letters and numbers are flying around
Its to confuse us. I realize now that this lens business is all a scam. Anything with more than F1.8 is a scam.
@DeepThinker193 Why is 70-200 f2.8 is bad?
just shave that stuff from your face man..
