Finally dropping my 5 year narrative of chronic pain. Since I developed the willingness to accept and explore, my body has been cheering and blooming. Thanks for your sharings on youtube, I appreciate them and it has a great impact on my life. Cheers!
my spine was fused at age 12 due to a potentially life threatening S curve of 90° at the base and 30° in my left shoulder. I've been taking bobinsana, it is a flowering herb from the Amazon that helps the body and heart release trauma. I find the energy does concentrate in my spine when I take her. Hanging upside down has also been a relief from the pressure I feel on the unfused vertebrae's. Hope this is helpful for someone 😊🤗❤
I have been told thay I have a very complicated scoliolis. I'm 60 years old and am a Holistic Massage Therapist. I fell down stairs 6 years ago which led me to my 1st chiropractor. Ive been on the healing path a long time. Some days I can barely walk and the pain is unbearable. Other days are easier. Breath work helps alot. I need help and direction. I am thankful to have been guided to your channel. 🙏☺️❤️
Thanks Benny for this! Going through an healing journey from my scoliosis and I had so much improvement through meditation! Your videos give me so much hope and inspiration ♥️
Hi! I know this is an annoying question, but how exactly did meditation work for you? I mediatate but i just focus on my negative emotions to avoid anxiety attacks. But how did you meditate, cuz my way is the only way of meditation that i know.
@@MovementMonk i'm 23 years old with S curve scoliosis, i was diagnosed at 18. doctor said it's inborn and i also have one missing rib. it only got noticeable when i as around 10 years old. I don't feel much discomfort, how can i prevent it from getting worse? thank you
Excellent points. So many people in western society view pain as something evil, when it is the mechanism which our body uses to let us know that we are not in alignment with our inner being or higher self. The back is a great metaphor or analogy for alignment. I have had scoliosis since I was 16 and now I'm 60. I bought a dual sport motorcycle just so I wouldnt give up staying fit emotionally and physically. But I know that it's not good to ignore the pain either. It's our body speaking to us. We just need to listen and allow. Be good to yourself. Meditation is key.
Hello, I have been dealing with what I believe is scoliosis for the last year. It has completely destroyed my quality of life, making it extremely difficult & painful to sleep, work, lift anything. Even breathing is more limited now and my stomach hurts easily due to what I believe is my spine compressing either my stomach or my intestines. You mention that it’s mostly mindset over the physical exercise you decide to do, however I’m curious what physical movements you did to restore your spine. I have been doing Tadasana (mountain pose) for the last few months everyday, and while it has improved my breathing and pain some, I am still incredibly dysfunctional. It sucks especially as I am 23 and supposed to be in the time of my life where I grind as explosively as possible in my career and fitness, however I can barely do anything without my body screaming at me. Did you truly heal your spine 100%? Or did you just learn to adapt to the pain and learn how to manage it? And what physical exercises or stretches did you do? I would love to hear from you.
Hey @leonups, thanks for your comment and I hear you with the challenges you’re experiencing. Yes, I healed my spine. I share how I recovered in the practices in our app Movement+. Hi, thanks for your comment. Yes, I healed my scoliosis fully… At its worst it was at about 30 degrees of curve. For context, I dedicated my life to learning what was happening with my body and learning what it needed to heal, so my results are not what you would call average. If you’d like any further support please reach out to me at aloha@movementmonk.xyz and we can discuss a path to support your healing 🙏
Hey I done this with dr joe dispenser meditations I’ve had it since I was born I’m still in the process it’s moving my rib cage bit by bit it’s crazy and amazing 🤩 my left shoulder blade has been a long process when I say long I mean months which is really short compared to spinal surgery it effects everything from your feet to brain most scoliosis patients have some imbalance in the left ear did you experience kundalini energy through your breath work ?
Hey Hxjade, I don't typically use the term kundalini energy, as I have not spent enough time learning directly through lineages that teach that path. What I will say is that I've noticed significant changes to my energy system (which can include kundalini energy) through breath work and many other practices. - Benny
I know I need to find personal path with my healing. I have been fighting my body for the past 2.5 years now after a hiddious back injury, which was followed by severe bursitis in my hip. My lower back and also now knee has been keeping me from any kind of exercise path for just as long, as everytime I start something, I experience pain and subsequently fear avoidance. I hate not being strong and I feel like my body is loosing all muscle, due to inactivity. I miss being able to just sit and relax. Everything between my navel and my knees is tense and aching all the time. Do you think your approach can be a way out for me?

Thanks for your question, @smamit2. In some ways, it is quite a complex question to answer. Our method focuses on becoming more connected to the body, which when practiced consistently (in our experience) has a healing effect on many different mind & body conditions. Do you suffer from scoliosis yourself?
If you’re looking for things that I did, check out the other videos on our channel. This video is about the mindset and perspectives that helped me recover from scoliosis, because it’s not just about the exercises you do (biggest mistake most people make)… it’s about how you relate with your body as you move. For example, if you try to force your posture to change with x,y,x exercise, the body goes into stress and tightens up… This highlights separation with the body. The path of healing is through connection. I hope that helps you with your journey 🙏
Does it also cure deformity caused by scoliosis. I am not talking about pain i know pain can be cured by brain but can body deformity and asymmetry be cured?
Yes, postural positions and habitual holding patterns can change. I’m a living example. I have dedicated my life to working with the body though, so am not a regular case. Many others don’t get the same results as they’re not willing to make the same level of sacrifices. If you’re dedicated and understand a process that works, amazing changes are possible.

Thank you for sharing @Geronimo. It's inspiring to hear of your story.
Thanks Benny. To try and fix myself, when I no longer needed to fix myself I had space. This is the key. To let go of trying, to surrender. ❤️
