The flagrance she served with the coffee is incense. We love filling the air with scent and smoke during a coffee ceremony, especially on holidays. It gives us vibe
Wellcome back bro. By the way our new year celebration is on September month not in january. We didn't celebrate the Gregorian calendar . I heard you that you say happy new year to people on the street.
You must be from the other part of Africa. In Ethiopia, they have a different calendar. They are Orthodox. Their Christmas and New Year come later, after the Gregorian calendar.

Ethiopians celebrate New Year on September 11 ( that is Meskerem 1 according to our Calendar). New Year marks the end of the rainy season the dawn of spring when flowers start blooming. There is this special flower we call Meskel Flower that adore fields everywhere you go at this time of year. We welcome the new year with this renewed prospect of hope as the seasons change
Ethiopian calendar: we are now in the 4 month of the year 2017. Our calendar consists of 12 months, 30 days each, and a mini month with 5 days (6 in leap years) in the end
In 2024 October I used Ethiopian Airlines to visit Pakistan 🇵🇰. I tried Ethiopian food in the Hotel and it was not tasty. My Ethiopian acquaintance in Canada 🇨🇦 told me that I needed to try street food in Addis Ababa. To give Ethiopia 🇪🇹 another chance. I am a Sudanese-Canadian and I will give Ethiopia 🇪🇹 a second chance.
@phoenix0000 I tried Ethiopian 🇪🇹 food on Ethiopian Airlines as well as on the Hotel. He told me that the Ethiopian Airlines food is never tasty and the hotel caters to foriegn tastes not local tastes. So, I said yes I need to give Ethiopian 🇪🇹 street food a chance. I need to venture outside the hotel and try streetfood.
@@uniquepolyglot2022 the injera is an acquired taste. And you should use it as a utensil to scoop the sauce or whatever is on the plate. But Ethiopian cuisine is unique and popular in the western world. And I don't actually recommend street foods because they're not authentic Ethiopian foods. They're actually adopted from the middle east. If you want middle east related food try foods from Eastern Ethiopia. But most other foods of Ethiopia can be found in Addis hotels and restaurants If you look for them.
Brother,Tip the one they help you specially you know they are poor don’t just say thank you and shake there hand. But the one try to take advantage of you don’t even have to give them a chance That is my advice Your blog is very nice and you are true African
Welcome back bro to your second home. Now, concerning entering filming with the camera, be smart enough. Not all people like being recorded video. Some places, they don't care. Some places are very sensitive for the sake of many dignitaries and celebrities. Just enter without showing that you are recording, without asking them and without making noise. When you reach the gate pause it and go inside peacefully, sit down, order what you want and start making videos for your content wisely. I hope this finds you well. I wish you a nice and enjoyable stay Shukran🙏, 🇪🇹❤️🇸🇸
The Gured in Totout Hoetl made a mistake in forbidding M.r BMG to filemd inside the Hotel. B/c it makes loss the Hotel a good opportunity of advertising with out any payment.
Ur paying way more than what u should pay for shared space. If I were u I would spend some time to look for affordable room less than 10$ . Am sure u can get.
Brother,Please don’t make mistake like you did on your previous visit asking Ethiopian as different people just because they are from south, north, west or East. We don’t like such kind division We are Ethiopian and you came to our country Ethiopia don’t make labeling Most people leave you comment on that and take it seriously
What new year are you talking about? We Ethiopians are not celebrating European or western new year.We are following our own calnder.Last time you were misbehaving..I hope you will correct it now.Respect the people and the culture.,if you want to be respected.
