"Shotgun Slade" seemed in many ways to be patterned after "Peter Gunn" The actual gun used in the TV show was a Marlin Model 90 O/U shot - rifle combination gun. Blue Book says 12 ga x .30-30, but Henry Stebbins says they were .410 x .22 Hornet, .218 Bee, or .22 LR.
Barrels in that picture look awful skinny for a 12 ga x 30-30.
