    The guitar playing sounds as if he could be the same player that done Beverly Hillbillies. As always Bob, thanks for posting and all your family does to bring us all the great westerns.

    That Jazz track was also on route 66 as well I am 63 yrs old and I remember this I love all be movies I am old 🏫 school I love this

    According to Wikipedia the Shotgun Slade ran from 1959 to 1961 and had 78 episodes in syndication.

    After watching a few episodes I began to wonder if this show was supposed to be a Sam Slade type of "modern" detective series, but was rejected and then refurbished as a western. For some reason other than a period custom change someone decided to keep the 1950's jazz soundtrack and story lines intact.

    Vito Scotti as Rayon. He was a very funny guy as a rule.

      Froggy the Gremlin used to torture Vito Scotti on the Andy's gang show ! Andy's Gang with Vito and Froggy had some very funny scenes for a children's show.

    Except for one thing in the television series Mr. Terry Scott Brady did not use a rifle he used that under over 12 gauge shotgun

    bob terry, you need to put your audio level for the introduction down, and the echo is annoying
