This two season series aired in syndication from 1959-1961. This episode, 'The Salted Mine' was the original pilot episode for the series, first airing on CBS's Schlitz Playhouse. The show stars Scott Brady, Marie Windsor, and Ernie Kovacs.

Cool! Ernie Kovacs is the Old Timer.
I remember Shotgun Slade, but not this specific episode.
I was 10 when it was first-run, and memory fades.
