DUDE that solo is incredible. It’s super fast, and so reminiscent of classic rock shit from the 80s and 90s. And the way Josh and Chad sync up for that small jump in octaves is just the cherry on top
For about 10 years we all got to live in a parallel universe where there was no John Frusciante in the RHCP, and everything was pretty good. You have to love Josh… this band lost arguably their most powerfully creative component and still were incredibly amazing and lovable. We love you Josh!

Watching this in retrospect Im not convinced that replacing Josh was such an improvement. He has waay more energy here than Frusciante had at Lolapalooza in 2022. AND he makes some attempt at mimiking the original solo in the studio version. Cant say the same thing about Frusciante though. Just sayin´
