Man, this is one of the best vids I have ever watched. Great work, not just setting up the boat but the different angles with GoPro and Drone. Hope you have fishing videos also, haven't looked that far yet. Thanks.
Thank you Cat for the awesome comment 😀, not al the videos but some I do put a little extra on, Im working on some special short film like fishing videos
Hope you make a lot of videos on the pelican pwr as much as you have this and it would be cool to see a side by side comparison. Great video keep it up Alex!!!!!!
Interesting to see how the steering kit installed and how it works. If I got this boat I would go with Honda 2.3hp which has no gear shift so you don't need the gear shift control. Also with the tiller extension you could probably just steer with that and forget about the steering system. How do you think the Jonny Boat compares with the Nucanoe Frontier 10? Thanks
Thanks Tony, this is a fun fishing setup that you can cartop for less than $1900 and can go up to 8mph, epic! If you buy one pls use my affiliate links in the description, thanks 😁

Will you be doing a trolling motor setup? For where I live gas motors are prohibited. If it can handle/support a battery without the terminals getting wet, then I'm sold.
Hi,, is the Gear oil already in the Suzuki when you buy it new? I know you have to add motor oil but I’m assuming it has Gear oil in it since that’s a relatively closed system.
Hey Alex, great video for a boat ‘ I hope you stick with reviewing kayaks, I really enjoy ‘ because to me, that looks like a mini bass boat’ as the name states ‘ I feel the original kayaking sport is now heading towards looking like a boat and motor ‘ what’s your thoughts ‘
That looks like fun. What kind of range can you get with a tank of gas? I would like to see how you put it on and off of your truck and on your C-tug with all of that attached. Do think it would be better to have a trailer for this setup?
@@AliexFolgueirareally nice editing my friend! ive watched pretty much all your reviews on all the kayaks over the past 3 years, im about to get the power 100, i remember when you did the review on the power 100, your motor had been submerged twice, so it had seen better days lol did you ever do a real top speed on a 2,5hp other than that broken motor?
Hey @aliex what did you do with the knob screw on the plate that you put on the back. Im looking at mine and I can't really see a purpose, it kind of gets in the way of instal. Just having a brain fart and can't seem to figure it out.
I've been a Hobie guy my whole life, but this is definitely making me feel some type of way! Ide buy a completely flat deck spaced version and put a trolling motor on it! You think one would fit on the front?
How much is the Jonny Bass 100 , the out board weight ? , and it seems we have to do a lot of drilling and screwing . Is there a chance that the water may seep in ?
Cuantos km/h corre a su maxima velocidad, quiero comprar una para mi kayak pelican... Tengo un trolin que es más silencio. Pero si puedo avanzar mas rapido con esa esta mejor Saludos desde Cancún México
Yes sir,i just purchased the jonny boat yesterday after watching a ton of your kayak videos i made the decision on the jonny, you have a great informative channel bro..
@@FishingFloridaWithKO definitely.. and still you will have problems getting it into plane. Mostly because you need the right weight distribution and the right trim which might be harder to achieve depending on the different craft! But add weight to the formula and you will need more hp/torque..
Very helpful video Allex. I think it;s called a grub screw.
thanks :) hopefully I remember next time the name of the screw
Set-screw!
Crazy crazy video Alex! It looked like a lot of fun to shoot. I'm going to get that motor sooner or later but I'm happy for now with the trolling pod.
Definitely get the outboard when you can

Can't show anything about the pelican catch power, we took it out twice, got more fish than Jonny so far
Great video as usual Aliex i like the drone usage
Thanks 😁 drone is nice but launching from the yak is tricky

How do you think the Jonny Boat compares with the Nucanoe Frontier 10? Thanks
I would go for a 4hp at this point I want more power, I like the frontier 12 better than the 10
@@AliexFolgueira I think 4hp is overkill. The boat looks well balanced with the 2.5 hp. Thought you were going to lose the drone!
Really good video Aliex. You did a good job showing how to put the engine on. I think i might get one of those boat's.

Alex come up to the Pacific North West so I can see how that works with trolling for salmon! I think it would work.
Pacific Northwest 😍
Good fun I say! Where is that boat launch?
That's Deering point
So if you take the motor off every time your done with the boat to load it on top of car, does the steering kit quick disconnectable?
Very interesting your video at this time 👍
Do you recommend 15" short or 20" motor ??

yes i will be doing a 55# rear trolling motor with energized outdoors lithium battery

I think it is gonna continue to spand, big boat stuff on tiny yaks, there will always be the simple paddle yaks as well
That looks like fun. What kind of range can you get with a tank of gas? I would like to see how you put it on and off of your truck and on your C-tug with all of that attached. Do think it would be better to have a trailer for this setup?
No trailer needed at all this setup weights less than a pedal drive yak, ctug works great too, gas range is about 6 miles, I would take a spare

Gotta set the steering handle to the left a bit

Outboard $768 jonny $899, you don't have to do any drilling at all just stik yeh motor on the tramsom and go, check my other videos
Hey I'm just wondering where you got that attachment to put the motor on can you put a link please
Shouldnt the steering go on the right so you can steer with one hand and operate the throttle with the left hand?
I wonder if you can use this kit with a trolling motor
I don't see why it wouldn't work, gonna have to do some mods
@@AliexFolgueira great video by the way

Yes

would it be possible to install on a PA 360 ?

How many miles can you go on one tank of gas?
There is a lot to be said for not having to exert one's self. Fishing is supposed to be relaxing, anyway.
