Hi Dave, great to see you back. I hope you’re okay, although, I know from my mum passing a couple of years ago, there are no words I can say that will make you feel any better for sure. Great subject and close to my heart. We uncovered the caravan from its Specialised winter roof cover and are off to Broadway today for a few days. The roof cover has worked well and the sides just needed a waterless wash. All ready now to go on the road and get dirty again 😂
Hi Alan, much appreciated, it's not an easy time but Mum had a fantastic life and was so positive, she would not want us to be getting upset or putting our lives on hold, that just wasn't her way. Hope you have a great trip and good to know your cover has done its job well. Take care, Helen & Dave
Dave, our sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and all your family at this time. She will always be in your hearts and no doubt lots of fond memories together. We are off to Walnut Tree Farm on your recommendation in a couple of weeks and will raise a glass to you and the family. Best wishes David & Rachel (Colchester) ❤
Hi David & Rachel, well many thanks indeed for those lovely words. Mum had an onwards and upwards attitude to life and that's how it's going to be. She leaves us with some absolutely amazing memories. Hope you both enjoy your stay at Walnut Tree Farm. Cheers, Helen & Dave
Great update cleaning video Dave, I’m going to be doing the same very soon once the cover is off, and replacing the sealant is a great idea I’ll do that👍 Top tips well done and the wheel nut covers that’s a great finishing touch 👍😀😀
Hi Tristan, thanks as always, must admit I found it very therapeutic and it's got us in the mood for a trip out (once the inside has been done too). Cheers, Helen & Dave
Very nice job done there Dave 👍. The pink stuff did brilliant with the discoloured plastic. I wonder if it works similar to Ciff. I think the old name was Jiff. You are now ready for your first jaunt. Hope Helen is well. Best regards, Rob & Gail 😀
Hi Rob & Gail, hope you’re both well. I have tried Ciff/Jiff before but must say The Pink Stuff works better but be mindful that it is a mild abrasive but in this instance no scratches. Looking forward to getting out and mucking it all up again 😂. Helen’s condition is not currently improving and she is having more injections this week, she says Hello and thank you. Take care both. Cheers, Helen & Dave
Thank You very much for watching. Helen is still popping the pills for her arthritis, but other than that we're all OK thanks and looking forward to getting out in the caravan. Best wishes to you too. Helen & Dave
Only a new Caravantastic video could delay my Sunday morning MOTD viewing! Another great video with fantastic tips, practical solutions and product reviews. I've got to be a bit careful though Dave & Helen....since becoming a huge fan, I've bought 2 electric bikes, a power bank, various security devices and now a list of cleaning products! All necessary investments however. Keep the videos coming please, Joanne (Rosie the Lakeland terrier) and I thoroughly enjoy them.
Hi Jason, you're going to have to put the brake on the spending lol but thanks very much indeed for supporting us, it means a lot to us. Take care, Helen & Dave
Hi Dave. Great video mate. Love to see the caravan shine. Just on your rusty nuts 😅 we bought the covers as well when we bought our Swift. One of the best purchases we bought for the van makes all the difference. Doing outer white gasket soon hope to improve them as well. Takecare have a great summer ☀️ Paul and Sarah
Cracking job Dave. It's hard work and time consuming but when you step back and look at that end result it really does make it all worthwhile. Your van looks lovely mate. Enjoy your time ;))
Morning Stew, thanks a lot. Happy with the results but keep wondering what it's going to look like after our next trip out lol. Best wishes to you and thanks for your continued support. Helen & Dave
Hi Dave... great video and how good the van looks... mint!!... I know it sounds sad but I actually enjoy cleaning the caravan and find it almost therapeutic... thanks for the tips as always... cheers... Dave and Jane 👍
Hi Dave & Jane, not at all and I couldn’t agree more. It was great to focus on the cleaning of the caravan and also seeing a positive difference as a result of your efforts. Thanks so much and best wishes to you both. Cheers, Helen & Dave 👍
Hi Dave, great job done there. It has inspired me to crack on with my van which has been sitting in storage all winter. Unfortunately the battery box lock decided to break yesterday, so repair of that is the main job at the moment! Best wishes Terry
Hi Terry, always good to hear from you. There seems to be always something to be done, repaired or replaced. Hope you get that sorted easy enough. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
High Dave great post as usual. Thanks to you I bought silky products last year, great products, so good. So happy your back. My kind regards to you and Helen.
Hi Barry, thanks so much. I do like the Silky stuff although I had previously always bought Fenwick's products but I'm now converted. Take care and stay tuned. ATB, Helen & Dave
Hi Dave, lovely to see you back. 🤗 sat glued to your video. Wow the pink stuff does a great job and the window cleaner. You made a fantastic job of cleaning the whole caravan. It’s a tough job. Hope Helen is a little better. Take care x Julie and Tony x
Thanks so much Julie & Tony, always appreciate you watching. Hope to catch up with you both before too long. We are off to the Poshcats Rally in July this year (incase you are going to be there). Best wishes, Helen & Dave x
Thanks 👍 Steven, very kind of you to say so and I bet May can't come quick enough, it can't for us because we have a lovely trip booked in May. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
Hi H and D, having watched Dave in this video, he's reminded me that I really need to replace my sky lights this season, and possibly give all my seals a clean and re-do, already spoke to she who must be obeyed about a tub of pink stuff, I've improved our on site water feed this winter, by linking 3 aqua rolls with short lengths of food grade hose, so I fill my 3 barrels when I get to site and hopefully don't even have to change them during our trip, stay safe and happy travels, all the best Neil
Hi Neil, thanks as always for watching, appreciated as always. I've seen a couple of people with two aqua rolls before but never 3. Sounds like a good idea. Cheers, Helen & Dave
Hi Dave, another top job, cracking deep clean, admire your attention to detail. Finish looks great. You have improved immensely since the vlog I commented on today which was two years ago😱. However the offer of cleaning mine still stands , it’s not that far from yours to Boston. Enjoy your adventures with Helen, we are very envious of your trips as it’s mid April before we get away this year so your adventures will keep us going until that time. Kind regards 😎👍
Thanks very much 👍 I'll let you know next time we are in Conningsby or Skeggy, might be able to drop by and give your van a clean, I could do the garden for you while I'm there and cook your dinner too lol. Seriously, we appreciate you watching the vids and love the feedback. Stay tuned! Helen & Dave
Hi Dave good to see you back been thinking of you all and a great video and explanation the van looks great and ready for the season ahead! All the best to you all Daniel
Hi Daniel and thank you so much, very kind of you. It was quite therapeutic getting on with the caravan and a little work inside and then we are ready for the off!. Hope you're well and thanks again, Helen & Dave
Hi Dave and Helen, Great to see you back on our screens, hoping you are doing ok 👍. Great and useful vlog with helpful tips, who needs a new, elbow grease is much cheaper 😅. How far do you travel our van is in Wakefield, we'll cover your fuel 😅. Van looks great 👍. Nothing worse than rusty nuts 😂. Take care both, Paul and Joanne 👍 😊
Hi Paul & Joanne, thanks very much, shame you live so far away lol. You're right, no need to go new, just spend a few quid looking after what you've got. Best wishes, Helen & Dave
Cracking job there Dave. Some products I've not seen before, used silky and pink stuff loads but haven't seen the finishing Silky before. Great to have your van on the drive, I went to the storage yesterday to clean our van but can't do a thorough job due to not have a hose pipe. Your van looks like new, cheers
Hi Martin, hope you're well and thanks very much for watching and also leaving a comment. I know we are lucky to be able to keep the caravan on the drive now but prior to living here we had to keep it in storage and shared the same frustrations you mention. The Silky Dry & Shine is a detailing product which I generally use after I've already washed the caravan but I've also found it useful to use when we have arrived on site and you cannot wash the van. If you contact Silky they will probably send you their complete range in return for a review. ATB, Helen & Dave
When was my Van I would always recommend using a high-quality snowfall 1st to lift the dirt and grime off. And then using some sort of wash mate to prevent swell and scratch marks on my van. Are used to Bilt Hamber touchless on mine, and then the ceramic wash on rinse off coat, micro fibre towel, dry. Will leave your van, looking pristine.
Hi Stephen, many thanks for watching and leaving a comment. I'm always interested to learn what others do, this is how I've picked up great tips in the past so thanks again for sharing. Happy travels, stay tuned! Helen & Dave
Thanks Paul, we're just getting on with it, onwards and upwards! These Silky products are really good, very pleased with the results. Cheers, Helen & Dave
Hi Dave & Helen I'm sure I mentioned something about pink to you last year😊 anyways great job as always, and the knife is a putty knife I know this because I'm a decorator. ATB Joe & Tracey. Keep your chin up and keep.❤ smiling ❤❤
Hi Joe & Tracey, I thought it was a putty knife but thanks for confirming and I honestly couldn't remember who had told us about the pink stuff but thanks very much for the heads up, it's amazing stuff and great value for money. Hope you're both well and thanks as always for watching. Take care, Helen & Dave
Thanks very much for the sub, we appreciate it and hope you stay tuned! It’s quite therapeutic getting the van all ship shape and equally demoralising when it’s filthy after 10 minutes on the road 😂😂 Best wishes, Helen & Dave 👍
Good work I’ll be giving some of those products a try a small tip if I may be so bold would be to tywrap a couple of pieces of foam pipe lagging to your stepladder where it contacts the caravan this will ensure the ladder doesn’t mark the van and it will also help stabilise the ladder
Hi Pinza, many thanks indeed for watching and the top tip is a really good one. A few people had mentioned some pipe lagging/sponge, so I will be giving that a go. Thanks again, Helen & Dave
Just found your channel Dave, I will see if I can find some of the products you use here in New Zealand, its winter here but want to get the caravan looking mint again.
Hi Dave another great video time of year to start thinking about doing the nitty-gritty bits not bad as we have cover over it hope you & Helen are well stay safe
Thanks very much indeed Paul. Yeah, it's been very therapeutic getting on with a few caravan jobs and it's also got us in the mood for another trip away very soon. Best wishes and thanks again. Helen & Dave
Hi Dave, great video - nice to see you back, hope you’re ok as we both know what’s it’s like. One tip on the motor-mover, you can grease the rails it moves on (details on their website). They recommend doing it every six months. Doing mine today. Your caravan looks great 👍
Hi Stewart, thanks for watching and thanks for that top tip, something I have never done (not sure if my service engineer does it)? I will deffo look into it. Best wishes to you. Helen & Dave
@@HelenandDave I greased the runners on the motor mover yesterday (first time), certainly engages much quieter when leavening over. Not sure it’s included in service - future video?
@@HelenandDave basically covers off, grease the inner and outer runners with motor cycle chain lube, wipe off excess refit covers. 15/20 mins job, diagrams on power touch website - sorry can’t send link
Just found your channel Dave, definitely gonna try the pink stuff. Just in case you ever wanted to get the scratches out of perspex windows, i bought a kit that had abrasive paper from 200 - 3000 grit and a polishing mop/paste that went on a drill, took forever but the results were great.
Hi Gregory, glad you found us. The Oink Stuff is really good. Interested to hear about how you got the scratches out. Thanks for sharing, Helen & Dave 👍
Dave, Thank you for an interesting and informative recording. Concerned with the lack of support for the ladder and yourself; would recommend the use of a product like Slip Stop for your protection(and that of the caravan). Timothy
Hi Timothy, many thanks indeed for watching. Appreciate your concern and I’m going to get some non slip grip to affix to the top of the ladder, I do agree that will protect the van and reduce chances of slip. The ladders though do grip very well to the driveway and on one side the feet are wedged against the brick wall. Thanks again and best wishes, Helen & Dave 👍
Hi Dave, So sorry to hear about your loss. Nothing can ever prepare you for it. Back to caravan things if we may. I would avoid white spirit as a prep for sikaflex, it is oil based so not ideal, pure alcohol is good, although H may think it a criminal waste. Another good prep is the stuff used to prep plastic bumpers for paint, hellfrauds sell an aerosol called "Plastic Bumper Preparation", it gets rid of allsorts of things you don't want on something you want to paint or stick things too. Another great presentation as usual. p.s. There isn't a N in damper, written or verbal 😊
Hi Trevor, many thanks indeed, Mum had a great life right till the end and reached the grand old age of 96 and had a very positive outlook. Thanks for the heads up on the white spirit I know what H means about wasting alcohol lol and I'll look out for the Hellfrauds thanks. ATB, Helen & Dave
Hello Dave, thank you for the vidéo 👍 I did cleaned my caravan on friday too.😉 I only use Washing up liquid to clean mine😄 I think you use too many product on you caravan ,i would never use White spirit on mine because it damages the paint and the seal in à long term. You caravan looks brand New.well done Dave 🥳
Hi and well done for getting the van cleaned, it's help get us in the mood for a trip away. I'm sure fairy liquid will clean your van just fine but when it comes to getting a shine on or blacking the black then these products are excellent. Don't worry, the white spirit is just a dab and I did follow up and wipe off. No signs of paint removal. Thanks as always and happy travels. Helen & Dave
Hi Dave , a very nice job indeed. I would love to get mine like that but if you’re coming into Essex anytime soon I’ve got a job for you. Meanwhile I’ll do it my way ….. 😎…🙈 yes much better . Cheers. 🍺
Hi Ian, thanks but sadly not going to be your way anytime soon so you're on your own for now but if you need any advice you know where I am lol. Thanks as always, Helen & Dave
Hi Dave. another great video the van looks great I bought a couple of tins of Vuplex great stuff but I know you like a tip ,and save money so up to now as I worked in F1 motor racing for many years and were sponsored and given lots of products and we put all them to one si used pledge and mr sheen multi surface cleaner and is fantastic on body work and windows plastic try it or may be good for your followers😉
Hi James, that's very interesting to know and certainly worth a try, if it's good enough for F1 then it'll do for us, thanks. The Vuplex is excellent stuff, always leaves a great shine. Thanks again, Helen & Dave
Personally on the wheel nuts... Melenco do a plastic tell tail that fits onto the nut as your chrome one do. But there grey and indicates if the nut has moved via a direction arrow, simular to a lorry wheel.
Morning Dave & Helen, We spent yesterday giving our 580 a thorough clean and particular attention to under the edges of the front non opening aspect window. We noticed a big build up of moss and detritus in and around the spoiler that sits between this pannel and the three front opening windows. We then decided to remove this spoiler and were amazed at how much moss and detritus was secreted there. It is all beautifully clean now. Is this something that you have done or checked? Be interested to know. Hope you are both enjoying the BH weekend. Best wishes David & Rachel
Hi David & Rachel, thanks for your comment. I have cleaned it out a few times with a very thin stick with a cloth wrapped around the edge, it’s a trap for leaves and dust but I couldn’t see how to remove the spoiler. How did you manage it? Thanks for sharing. Helen & Dave
@@HelenandDave There are two Phillips screws located underneath a self-adhesive piece of rubber on the left and right hand side of the spoiler as you look at it from the front. It does mean you need to stick the rubber covers back on afterwards but the amount of moss and dead leaves we removed from behind the spoiler was well worth the effort. Hope that helps Lovely weather for ducks this BH weekend 🙄
When my sealant needs replacing in a few years I’ll renew mine with aquarium grade silicone and lot more hard wearing and doesn’t tend to go black. You can tell if it’s the right stuff as stinks of vinegar
Hi Stuart, I must say, I've found the Silky stuff really good. No nothing to add all the products I use are ready to go (apart from water to the shampoo). Thanks as as always, Helen & Dave
Hi Cameron, not something we have had to deal with but The Pink Stuff I used on the water intake flap brought the white back very well and then perhaps you could shine it up with the Vuplex. See the products here www.amazon.co.uk/shop/caravantastic/list/3S0SRIFBKB4ZE?tag=onamzcarava0c-21&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ons_mixed_d Good luck. Helen & Dave
Thanks dave my sinks not white but dont think that would matter i would have to make sure was washed off properly for hygene reasons as sink gets used for washing thanks anyway
I normally give the van a deep clean 3 times a year. Before the season Mid season end of season. The wheel caps look nice. Must be a faff when you wanna torque them up though ? Good tip on the pink stuff.
Thanks very much for watching. TBH I don't torque up on every trip like a lot do but I have to say, I hadn't really thought about it being a faff. They do come with an applicator to quickly remove them but they deffo do look a lot better than the dull nuts!! Thanks again, Take care, Helen & Dave
Hi dave loving the video this has really helped me out thank you. Just a quick one wot would you use to clean you sky hachs on the roof? As mine are that brown colour?
Hi Mark, thanks very much for watching and leaving a comment, really appreciated. Yes they do tend to go that colour, caused by the fading of the perspex from the sunlight. I did make a video on how to remove these for cleaning, they are double skinned and the dirt often gets between the two layers of perspex. I take them down, wash them in warm soapy water and dry them and then use Vuplex to disguise some of the scratches and give then a shine. I'll put a link to the video and the Vuplex below. Thanks again, Helen & Dave VUPLEX LINK www.amazon.co.uk/shop/caravantastic/list/3S0SRIFBKB4ZE?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ons_mixed_d VIDEO LINK ruclips.net/video/_U1ubIqYho0/видео.htmlsi=rdYjkiwk0wlpUtjJ
Great to see you back. Now, nuts. Are those covers easy to take off? I ask, as I find ones fitted on cars can be a pain at times and do tend to crack easily. I do like to check my nuts before driving off to site and again before leaving site. While I do have a torque wrench, I just check they are not loose, as using a torque wrench requires loosening first and then re- torgueing in dynamic mode, if accuracy is required. So I just check for tightness. Baileys had an issue in the past in this respect I believe. I once had a wheel nearly hit me on the Caister bypass which detached from a trailer being towed by a car in front. Luckily I was not too close and watched the wheel fly and bounce to land in the verge near the footbridge.
Hi Mel, I reckon you check your nuts more regularly than me, in fact I've never checked your nuts lol. I haven't tried getting them off yet but they came with a little tool to get them off. I'll see how I get on. I do torque them fairly frequently I suppose but not every trip. Hope you're both well. Cheers, Helen & Dave
Hi Michael, many thanks for watching the channel. I have attached a link that will take you to all of the caravan cleaning stuff we like to use. Hope this is useful. Thanks, Helen & Dave www.amazon.co.uk/shop/caravantastic/list/3S0SRIFBKB4ZE?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ons_mixed_d
Hi Dave , are you happy with the Silky now or have you found anything better to get a shine on the front and rear ? You seemed unsure in the video. Also we are suffering with the grey streaks below the windows , what’s best to remove ? Cheers Craig
Hi Craig, still loving the Silky, I need to give it a real deep clean front and back though to get that deep shine but Silky is the product. Fenwick’s do a very good remover for the grey/black streaks. Click on the link in our description to our Amazon store. You’ll see it there. Best wishes, Dave & Helen 👍
I spoke to a Dealer who sells second hand caravans near Worcester..I remarked how especially clean his caravans looked . He said I used Hair shampoo...does the best job and it's cheap
I bet his caravans are Head & Shoulders above the rest lol. Sorry, couldn't resist it :o) The thing is, I'm going to have to try it now! Thanks for sharing. Helen & Dave
Hi guys! The previous owner of my Lunar Quasar was a T-Cut fanatic. For those who do not know, T-Cut is an abrasive polishing compound and once used on paint, oxidisation will quickly re-occur if not sealed. I use carnauba wax but I am seriously considering a repaint and lacquer job. Abrasives are the kiss of death!
Hi Dino, many thanks indeed for this important heads up and tbh it’s something I hadn’t given consideration too myself. Thankfully I’m not a T cut fanatic but for those that are, beware. Thanks for watching. Helen & Dave
Hi John, the covers are generally not completely waterproof and I had taken the cover off previously to do some work inside the caravan and it was off a couple of welds before I put it back on. Cheers, Dave 👍
Hi Charles, I generally use Silky products but here is a link to them in our amazon store , Thanks for watching, Helen & Dave www.amazon.co.uk/shop/caravantastic/list/3S0SRIFBKB4ZE?tag=onamzcarava0c-21&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ons_mixed_d
Hi dave and helen hope you are both ok?dave you have made a fabulous job of cleaning the caravan mate, the vulplex product you use on the windows do uou use it to do the inside of the windows? to or do you use another product ?the rear panel of my caravan has gone very flat what would you recommend to fetch the shine back on it?keep up the good work dave, hope helen finds something to take the pains away and take care the pair of you ...steve and Paula
Hi Steven the Vuplex is good for inside and out, no probs and brings a lovely shine back. I have been using the Silky Cream Cleaner to bring the shine back to the rear of the caravan but if it's particularly bad it may well take a few coats to get it back to a shine. Helen says thanks, she's soldiering on and popping lot's of pain killers at the moment. Take care, Helen & Dave
Someone may have already said this but i have not read the comments. On the windows you can use compound and if you had a polisher then even better. Then in future washes don't use the brush on the windows but use a noodle wash mitt, looks like little worms or at least a microfibre wash mitt. On the rubber bellow for the dampener you could some thing like auto glym vinyl and rubber care, you can have it to shine or as a matt finish depending how you put it on, good for the tyres as well as is on all the rubber window seals and door seals, looks good but more impotently gives them a UV protection, and makes the windows seal better as well as stopping the rubber from cracking . on the edges between the hard plastic parts the seals and around the lights you could mix up in a spray bottle with some cleaner and get a detailing brush, spray brush/agitate raise off. Ye the pink stuff really is good on bringing the white plastic back to white. The sika seal looked so much better after, really wanting to do mine but the van lives in a storage yard, nice yard but not the same as having it on the drive to do repairs. oh you ork in a good order and idnt forget the number one rule...... a cup of tea lol just subbed to your channel all the best
Hi Dave, loving the video and sorry about your recent problems but I have to comment about your state of fitness. You seem to be very out of breath doing things that are not very strenuous. Caravanning is wonderful, and I enjoy it massively also, but staying healthy and fit allows you to do it more enjoyably and for longer. Maybe cycling or swimming etc. would be beneficial. I am getting on in years ( 65 ) but I have come to realise that money isn't in short supply but time is and anything that gives me more time should be embraced ?
Hi Steve, thanks for your concern. I could certainly be a lot fitter but trust me there is so many other things I am doing off camera that you don't see, loads of running around and also trying to do so much so quick before it rains and so I can get finished and then spend the best part of a day editing. You're right, you can't buy time and I would much rather run out of cash than run out of oxygen! Take care, Helen & Dave
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment, always interesting to get others perspectives. Interestingly I’ve read up on this in the past on a few different DIY sites and they said it’s fine to use your finger in fact they encourage you to wet your finger first. They do also mention using a tool too, whichever you prefer. Thanks again, best wishes, Dave
@HelenandDave No worries. Using a wer finger is transferring moisture which turns to mould/black staining. Same if you use wet wipes or fairy liquid. It.also leaves a concave surface which can hold moisture. With a forming tool you can leave a small 45 degree bevel.
Yeah, you add it to water, spray it on to your house garage or whatever and the algae falls of. There's a conifer tree beside my house and it absolutely loves white things 🙄
@HelenandDave definitely sound. I keep referring back to this video time and time again when getting our pride and joy spick and span. It's a great video Dave. Hope Helen is doing well and is more comfortable. I expect you'll have a fire tan on the next video after watching the last one.....I love a fire but have never been brave enough to lighy one when we caravan mainly because our 5 Dachshunds could end up (literally) Hot Dogs! Gavin
When your puffed you are not doing your best camera work. Other than that a great video demonstrating different products, and you don't say unnecessary things, which is something in and of itself these days.
SO.!! Basically that caravan cover does nothing to help.? I'm surprised how green it was under that. Been thinking about a cover, but now I don't think I'll bother.!!
Hi, a little tip for you. Put foam pipe lagging on your ladder where it leans against the caravan and it will prevent damage. 👍
Hi Pauk, thanks, a few people have advised the same and it makes good sense so will follow up on that one for sure. Thanks again, Dave
Glad to see you back. I like your work ethic and attention to detail. I have picked up some useful tips, thanks.
Cheers Richard, very good of you to say so and very much appreciated.

However the offer of cleaning mine still stands , it’s not that far from yours to Boston. Enjoy your adventures with Helen, we are very envious of your trips as it’s mid April before we get away this year so your adventures will keep us going until that time. Kind regards 😎👍

Dave,
Thank you for an interesting and informative recording.
Concerned with the lack of support for the ladder and yourself; would recommend the use of a product like Slip Stop for your protection(and that of the caravan).
Timothy
Hi Timothy,
many thanks indeed for watching.
Hello Dave, thank you for the vidéo 👍

I think you use too many product on you caravan ,i would never use White spirit on mine because it damages the paint and the seal in à long term.

Hi Dave. another great video the van looks great I bought a couple of tins of Vuplex great stuff but I know you like a tip ,and save money so up to now as I worked in F1 motor racing for many years and were sponsored and given lots of products and we put all them to one si used pledge and mr sheen multi surface cleaner and is fantastic on body work and windows plastic try it or may be good for your followers😉
Hi Phil, they sound like a good idea, will investigate them, cheers, Helen & Dave
Best wishes
David & Rachel
Hope that helps

Hi Wullie, it's the 221. Cheers, Dave

Pool noodles or pipe insulation on the steps helps protect the van
That’s a good tip Neil and one I will follow up on. Thanks 👍

Hi Ste, thanks for the tips and also for subscribing to the channel. Much appreciated, Helen & Dave
Dont use your finger on the silicone as you will transfer moisture to it straight away. Get a silicone forming tool such as the Cramer set.
