It’s pretty amazing that JG is already at legendary status at 19, kids fast as fuck and has an incredibly bright future ahead of him.
Plenty of kids in the same situation that don't make it anywhere near this far. Was it a step up, absolutely, but it was up to him to take it further.

I'm 14 and I literally cannot ride fast and hard trails, my mom just doesnt let me lol
one day I went to a trail close to my house with my cousin and didnt tell my mom, I made a slight mistake and felt a lot of pain through the week on my feet, but I couldnt tell her because she would be really mad and prob take my bike
Now imagine how many kids also suffer with this, kids with a lot of potential but that are locked in because of their parents..

Humble as could be, seems very mature as a rider yet isn't afraid to have some fun. Jackson has already earned himself a spot in the mountain biking hall of fame in my (and many others) eyes. Cannot wait to see him race this year and I wish him the best of luck, even though he definitely doesn't need luck!

@@melwalshmtb9121 he literally states he’s 19 in the video. And yeah I’m jealous. I’d love to be able to ride like him. I didn’t get to grow up with his support though. Kid has a video of him as a child biking around. That’s called connection and privilege at a very young age

An interesting moment for him, his family, team and,of course, us privileged to be able to tag along (thanks GoPro). He’s as fast as the fastest in the Elite (have a look at last year’s times and note the defensive explanations about weather and track evolution). And then there was RB Hardline. Would he have won if BK hadn’t come off taking the risk on that bad lip for his fellow riders? Probably not: BK knows how to turn the screw there. But it doesn’t matter, it’s all about how he matures. Steve and Greg have his back. He’ll win a few and may well take one of the striped jerseys. I’ll be cheering him on for sure 😊

It went together easily in less than an hour. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.
the difference between normal people and riders is that riders can break their bike and they don't care so they can afford to go full speed and have maximum fun
