The UCI Mountain Bike World Series unites mountain bike’s major formats under a single brand for the first time. The new UCI Mountain Bike World Series includes the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup for Cross-country Olympic (XCO), Cross-country Short Track (XCC), Cross-country Marathon (XCM), Downhill (DHI), Enduro (EDR) and E-enduro (E-EDR).

personally i didn't mind the shouting but i can understand that it may get old and annoying for some viewers.

Love the actual race footage, hate the announcers. Please bring back Rob Warner. He's the GOAT of mountain bike announcing. And what's with no announcers at all in the women's footage. Bad announcing in the men's and none at all in the women's? Get it together UCI. This is bad.

Stoked that the crew is listening to community feedback and we’ve seen a massive and steady improvement in the broad cast each race. This feels like the first real highlights video of the season. Obviously i miss rob warner and crew but those are huge shoes to fill and the improvement thus far this season has been good to see.

They didn't get rid of him. He's under contract with Red Bull
rob doesn't want to work with the new media team who won the contract to broadcast these races for years so we've got no choice.

Lol, rob wasn't dropped, he had a contract with Red Bull, simples.... Get over it, he's not commentating anymore, he's not coming back unless he or Red Bull decide not to renew his contract. It's really not the end of the world 😂
First of all, bring Rob back, these commentators suck ... Second, Jackson is an absolute gem. I get the same feeling watching him as I did with Tony Hawk when I was a kid. Or Jordan or Tiger. He just looks better than everyone else.

You can see how Jackson benefits from his small size here. His modern style of riding inside a big bike lets him get away with more looseness.
Had he been heavier or riding a smaller bike he would have gone otb in that first corner.

So far, every race this season, I find that I can only watch a few downhill runs with the sound on but then I end up having to mute it. Obviously, everyone is different, but for me, the commentary actually gets fatiguing. I don't hate watching it without the sound but I wish I didn't feel like I needed to. That said, I'm just one person, and some people may really like this new team.

Agree. I've seen it in other action/gravity sports too, where the commentators think that shouting is adding to the innate excitement of the visuals when it is actually annoyingly detracting from them.
Yup. Watched it on mute. Cedric is the worst. Literally says the most generic useless information.
I think it’s pretty damn good. And gets better every race. Would be great to hear Warner as well, but he’s got a full plate.

Amazing outcome! So happy for Jackson. That guy is the MTB version of spiderman! As for this new format, it sucks. I can't afford the pay per view finals. I watch the semis and the final highlights only. And really, the quality is so much worse now. From commentary to the way the time is displayed. Big back step in MTBing.
Young guns are pushing the envelope & semi final moto style racing can only make the sport improve. Most of those top ten times wud of podiumed or won last year. Coverage is getting smoother too._stay wild ⛓️💀⛓️

UCI Please see this. I don't know who designed your UI on the stream, but what a horrible job. Why is the final split time lost/gained in GREY and the live split times are colored properly? Its impossible to see unless I move closer to my TV. Just make the color green or red, its not hard.

Brosnan good enough for a podium but not a highlight. Better job on the highlights though, got a glimpse of the excitement of last riders trying to better Goldstone. Miss live finals but not funding a Lycra network to see a few races. No one watching this cares about road riding.

Win local races on a hucker like a canfield jedi or something under 1000 bucks. Get sponsors get paid get a better bike that can keep up with this type of course. And hope to god you can progress ti winning top threes in world cups and you wont bat an eye at the price lol. Obviously a joke i know it’s not that easy.
