Let the analysis begin, 4.3 seconds is a lot in downhill and you can be sure every line, every pedal stroke and every tuck will be analysed by goldstones competitors. That was insane, well done Canada and well done Jackson.

Thankfully they fixed that view on the Stevie drop, but I was furious when they showed that corner with the Oakley banners for like 10 secs and no one showed up. That‘s exactly where Dak crashed and we missed it. Sort it out UCI for 2024! Not sure if I‘m gonna pay again for this kinda quality.
That's not where Dakota crashed and in that area of track last year Red Bull TV missed larger portions of riders runs (almost a minute). We missed about 15 seconds of Jackson's winning run in 2023, we didn't see over one minute of Finn's winning run in 2022.

@@SH-er5dz Red Bull didn't mess up, they always missed out large portions of runs. Dakota crashed on a section of track that has never had a camera, sadly they missed his crash. Missing key moments is sadly always gonna be a thing unless we have five minute gaps between riders, which can't happen unless we have around 20 riders in mens finals.
Simple solution: have cameras everywhere on track so you have at least footage from when things happen. A good director will be able to squeeze that replay in somewhere. But as long as we keep filming the sky with shaky drones and cutting to team managers during a winning run, I don‘t see any improvement happen.

Downhill Mountain Bike is the only s;port that I know where winning the overal championship seems to have very little importance or relevance. All the praise is for the race winner versus the wold cup champion. I like like this sport but it just doesn't make sense people's approach to it racing-wise.

Anyone can win a race but in order to be the best you have to prove it over an entire season. I just don't understand why in Downhill MTB no one cares about championships, it seems like if they win a race they're done. You would never see that in other racing sports like Formula 1, MotoGP, Rally driving, etc.
