I certainly think you are working hard and you are one of the few who actually builds his own equipment and puts in all of the effort of doing and learning how to do everything with serious mods. All the cars you have built, driven, and shown on your channel is very impressive. I am a huge GT500 fan and own a 20 GT500. I also think you represented us ford lovers well too. In showing all of the work that you do you are sharing a lot of knowledge for all of us watchers. I can't see how anyone can fault you for deciding on how you want to move forward with your own life.

Wow I didn’t expect this. I literally just bought a 2010 gt500 in September cause I loved yours so much.just got 13/14 tail lights yesterday too! Also have a 97 rio red cobra. Been watching you since turdzilla. You have so many builds going on, I know you will be ok. It just sucks to see el choppo go! Whatever happens I’m here still 💯👍
I was 100% in up until a week and a half ago. Still so far off on the engine getting done. It’s easier to call it quits now and I can still come out on top rather than sinking further in. It would have been amazing for sure but the down time just killed it

While it’s bittersweet that El Choppo isn’t coming back, I’m always excited to see what you’re into next. I had a 09 GT500 myself, absolutely loved that car. But after 7 knee surgeries and it was just sitting because I could no longer drive it. Broke my heart selling it. Had I known that Ford was bringing out a DCT with supercharged 5.2. I would have made plans to keep and attempted a swap. Any who good luck sir! Looking forward to what’s next

Sad to see El Choppo go, but def is a good reason. Exactly how I feel about my 04 GT. Had it for 7 years, spent a decent bit of money on it to (obviously not like you with El Choppo lol). But haven't gotten to drive it no more then 9k miles in that 7 years. Then past 2 years it's had state ref on it here in cali 😭. But, thats why now I wanna get rid of it for a vette or something 🤣.

The fact that it is a 13 Cobra and it makes other people happy when they see it or sit in it always brought me a lot more joy than the performance of the car. Shelby's are special, I will miss your beautiful red car for this, but I think you made the right decision.

I don’t blame you. I came here because of my love for S197s and GT500s. But it only opened the door. The other videos are what keeps me around. I do want El Choppo (the stock body)..lol. I love that car but I totally get your decision.
I remember when you picked this one up. I think it had a wiring issue on the intercooler pump?
Yup the day I brought it home intercooler pump stopped working. Factory wiring melted
You had a 5.4 in the gt500, did you swap a stock 5.8 in it?
You have to do what's best for you and your own mental health, as chasing this when it's no longer rewarding for you isn't going to help anyone. Personally I have a 21 GT500 that I don't intend to modify even though a good part of me wants to do it because I simply don't have the bandwidth to put into it. (I have cancer, so other more important things to worry about occupy my mind these days.) I've had a great time watching your videos and I love your car though. I think if you still want to dump money into a fast car, starting with a cheaper platform might not be a bad idea. Looking forward to seeing what you do next!

I ran into similar issues with my built- VMP Gen3r 14 GT500 so I totally understand how frustrating it can be. Also why I sold mine for a coyote car. 🤷♂️

I got rid of my gt500 too, I have a set of those same diamond pistons too! They pitted and 2of them the ring lands pinched the rings in about 2-3k miles…getting anything from MHS is good stuff but like watching concrete dry or pulling teething! Slow as F and Lie after lie!
